Cup Final Results

Under 15's
West Torrens Birkalla 0 - Croydon 2

A mistake by the keeper lets in the first, then a birkalla player sent off for a tackle from behind in the box as last man, but croydon miss the penalty, but get a second in the first half and hold on to the win despite comin under pressure in the second half.

Under 14's
MetroStars 1 - Campbelltown 2

Match of the day for me. Two very talented sides battling right down to the last minute. All three goals were quality, including the winner for campbelltown as the player held off challenges before slotting the winner.

Under 13's
Modbury 0 - Para Hills 3

Para Hills just ended up being too strong, great goal for para hills second, a screamer from outside the box, very even contest though.

Under 16's
Blue Eagles 1 - Modbury 3

Modbury to strong and took an early lead, Blue Eagles got a good equaliser with the striker beating the keeper to the ball but good turned to worse as Blue Eagles had their goalie make a mistake in coming out for a cross and getting crunched and having to leave with concussion, forced to play an outfield player in goals they battled hard but Modbury deserved the win.

Under 12's
Modbury 0 - Adelaide City 1

Quality match, some boys had great touch and dribbling ability. Adelaide City were too strong though, and had a young african boy who did all the damage, including setting up the match winner.

Under 17's
South Adelaide 0 - Adelaide City 2

Close game but Adelaide City were too good, Gene Verda-Day destroyed Souths backline while some south players seemed more intent in starting fights rather then focusing on the game

Yep Im from Adelaide City 17's , South Adelaide did put up a good fight, they were more interested in pushing you in the back or starting fights some of the time but good game overall

To the letter of the law. Not too lenient really given the fact it's a big day for the kids.

Most of the games it was pretty good...the ref in the under 12s got the corner distance wrong but there was only one player sent off and i think three yellows in the 17s game, rest of the time.
