JPL Cup Finals 2006

I would like to wish all teams participating in the Cup Finals on Sunday all the very best of luck on the day. Congratulations to you all...for those that have been there before, you know what to expect. For those that haven't, you will have a great day and experience playing on a fantastic surface in a great stadium. I hope that all parents support not just their kids, but all kids that participate as it really is a highlight in the season for them. Be happy for them if they win, but be equally as happy if they lose because I'm sure they would have given it their best shot. I'm sure all kids will get different words of advice from different people but remember one thing...your best is ALWAYS good enough.
Have a great day and accept the outcome...whatever the result.

The under 16s game has all the making of a great game...... both leauge games were very close 2 1, 3 2 both going modburys way. Blue eagles will be very fired up for a win as they have been very close both times. my prediction 3 2 to modbury.

Croydon 2-2 Para Hills (AET) 4-2 on penalties

2005 Under 14's Final
Croydon 2-1 Modbury

2006 Under 15's Final
Croydon 2-0 Birkalla

Croydon juniors been doing very well in the past few years...very good to see

Correction it was ABE 1 v Modbury Jets 4

Regardless though a great show of sportsmanship on both teams.

Score was a bit harsh though, ABE played really well even though they lost their 'keeper McCaffery through concussion.
