Discusting Fans

Post by ChelseaFC »

Arsenal fans "BOOOO" Off Eboue..

Eboue came on as a subistute at half time by the looks of things.
89th minute he was taken off as he was having a shocka. While leaving the field Eboue was booed off.

Thats poor attitude towards your players. You expect me to believe their are true fans ????

Arsenal are very well known for stupid things like that!!!!!!!!

total bollocks, if you've paid your admission fee you are entitled to tell players that are playing crap that they are playing crap.

How do you know they weren't chanting A-BOOOOO!!!
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Colossus: One House

Costa: One Lunch

Oh and add in

Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

As Hawkesy said - If you have paid your admission fee, you have every right to boo a player!! They are big boys and get paid big money.

I think that maybe someone is still a little bitter about last weeks result!

Fans haven't liked him since day 1

1) He is a RB but gets played out of position all the time so we don't see his full potential
2) He will whinge about every referee decision no matter how blatant his foul is
3) He is a diver

Last night was a culmination of these factors and his performance

If he was good enough at RB, he would've pushed Sagna out of that position.

Some of Sanga's crosses last night were rubbish.

The standard of crosses in modern football is dire all round really.

Arsene press conference

On Eboue's late substitution...

"Yes it was a difficult decision. I felt he had completely lost his confidence and could not keep the ball anymore. Of course then he became a danger. I feel it was very sad but aswell i think the most important thing is that we won the game, whether he played a minute more or less at the end of the day it doesn't make a difference.

"I think when you are a fan you are behind your players and that is what you want them to do. On the other hand I believe that Eboue will come back and show how good a player he is. For me that has happened on every pitch in the whole world and the same fans will applaud him when he comes back and plays well.

"We started to lose balls in the middle of the park. I want to show him nothing, I want to win the game. Do you really think I am at the stage where i want to show a player something? What would I want to show him? I just think that it could have put our 90 minutes hard work in trouble and you want to save the game. He would be the first unhappy one if he loses the ball because it makes him lose confidence and the team can drop points.

"He is a sensitive boy who wants to do well and cares about the club. He was tired because he didn't play for a month and on top of that it is difficult when you have the crowd on your back. You do not want the fans to do it but if you say to do they have the right legally to do it, then of course they do."

yes but the 4 screen display didn't have Chelsea on, it would require a good minute to set up and watch Arsenal play. Not suprised a 'diehard' supporter would rather watch us than their own team

Listening to a player getting an ironic cheer when he is taken off by his own fans is a really sad thing to experience. I really did feel for Eboue as he trudged off. And the fact that I actually managed to feel that way about Eboue strikes at the heart of the issue here.

I detest Eboue. Always have. Not a particularly good player, but lets be honest, Arsenal have quite a few of those and you cant hate them all can you ? No, I detest Eboue because he is a lazy coward. The Arsenal fans I know all feel the same way. For the same reason. He is an abhorrent diver/actor/late challenge artist that has no place in an Arsenal shirt. We, the fans, have felt this way for two years now, and yet Wenger persisted in picking him and defending him. And now, because Wenger trusts his players too much, because he trusts his system too much, and because he is resistant to buying players to bolster a thin, injury prone squad, we find Eboue coming on as a sub, after two months injured, to play as a left midfielder.

Eboue was a poor right back. He couldnt defend. Wenger took 18 months to admit it and then bought Sagna. But he didnt dump him off on someone. Oh no. 'I need a right midfielder. Why buy one when I can just play Eboue there instead? He's an Arsenal player. They're great. They can play anywhere.' NO THEY CAN'T.

So Eboue was moved from being Arsenal's rubbish right back to become Arsenal's rubbish right midfielder. If Walcott and Nasri were fit, Eboue wouldnt get a sniff. Who is Arsene kidding here ? Not the fans. They had enough of Eboue long ago. Patience gone. But Wenger believes in them all. He knows best. So Eboue finds himself playing in a position where he is so painfully out of his depth in front of an unforgiving crowd. Ta very much, boss.

And then Wenger compounds it by throwing him to the lions by subbing him.

Make no mistake here. This has been brewing. The Arsenal fans are sick of players as poor in every aspect as Eboue wearing our shirt. We are sick of Wenger giving them too much faith. We are sick of having to see them when its so painfully obvious we have the money to get better ones. Perhaps Wenger realising, despite the inevitable consequences of the crowds reaction, that time was up for Eboue today means that time is up for him at Arsenal. If so, it would be a rare admission of fault.

I've no doubt, as I type, Wenger is complaining about the crowd. I think he needs to go home, have a look in the mirror, and think about who the crowd are really venting their anger at.
as opposed to other :clown: 's who think the fans simply turned on him for one mistake!

Your feral fans booed Voronin when he was brought on vs us in pre-season and he proceeded to score the 90th minute winner and as a mark of his departure gave the Kop the old stfu gesture in celebration.

For the record at Lazio so far this season we've booed 2 of our players - Makinwa and Manfredini and when I was there in January and Muslera's name was read out on the annoucements as a sub he copped it hard but I think all is forgiven for him. Muslera and Manfredini were treated harshly but Makinwa deserves all the abuse plus more.

I always thought Eboue was decent for assnal. Guess it shows how much I follow EPL.

Difference is though that the Arsenal supporters were doing it during the game whereas the LFC supporters booed at the end of the game (which although i don't think is right it) which is the right (if there is a time) time ot do it because as someone else pointed out the players get paid the money to perform and the fans have a right to express thier feelings (especially at the end of the game)

Voronin was definitely a helluva lot better than the fans gave him credit for. He scored some nice goals for us, and played outstandingly well against Beskitas as I remember it. Yes, we won that game 8-0 and it wasn't a contest, but he really was superb that day.
If he had an injury free consistent run in the premier league I'm sure he would have changed peoples attitudes towards him. Oh and like you say, he definitely had more impact than Keane.
