Just a strange reflex reaction but worthy of a yellow card, a defender couldn't get away with that so a attacker shouldn't either.

im after watching it i have no fkn idea what ronaldo was doing. he was signalling that he thought the whistle was blown for a foul on richards but i saw richards go down after he had handled the ball. but there must be something behind his reasoning because i doubt he'd do something as blatant as that after being yellow carded

shocking decision from the ref, but as the commentator stated, the ref WANTED the final say cos he was bitch-clapped by ronaldo earlier for the yellow.
Honestly, the ref had a shocker, he gave away too many silly and soft frees for both teams, let man city away early on in the game with no yellow.
Neways, Ronaldo if fouled or not, SHOULD NOT OF HANDLED THE BALL. deliberate handball, deserved yellow.

great win by the boys of red, now pressuring chelski and liverpoooo
5 points away from chelski with a game in hand. Liverpooooo should win tonight!

The red nosed drunk said he must have been protecting his face,
Sparky said, if it was going to hit him in the face why didn't he head it.
 well said Sparky

Was the worst handball incident ive seen for a long time....what an absolute knob. He was obviously protecting his face (what a big girl)

Ive seen people do it in games ive played in but that was under 6's.

Jay, he wasnt pushed off the ball, nor was the hands of the player making contact with Ronaldo...

Now, if i was in this position for starters a push coming from behind, his head would have dropped and his face/head would have been no where near the ball.
Second, You cannot and i mean cannot in the rules of Football turn around to a ref and clap your hands (Sarcastically) regardless of whats going on, whether he was wrong in making the decision DO NOT clap at the ref unless its a genuine clap. We know that "The Girl" (Ronaldo) did not do this action genuinly. The hand ball in my opinion should have been a straight red card. He'll get two games for disrespecting the ref

haha - straight red card for that, ur a n0b. the first card wasn't for clapping the ref it was for the tackle, the second one is a matter of opinion, in my opinion i don't believe he was trying to score by handling the ball nor was he trying to gain and advantage or hinder an apponent so i wouldn't have booked him. i thought the ref didn't use any common sense but thats probably due to the stupid clapping in his face ronaldo did after the first booking.
