Re: Any news on the Vista coaching front????
This is a massive call..... But surely with the weath of experience from his international experience etc maybe we can have an actual coach in the amatuer league rather than just someone who gets players up for the games!!! I have heard this was in the pipeline for a while???
The major problem I see is the player management. Players may not enjoy being told what to do by a 20 year old (???). The bigger call i believe, as i think this is a good (??) appointment, is who the assistant will be...
I hear Vista have the coin to make some noises in div 2 next year. Big things to come... and rival what Gully are doing....

Is that definite Oracle (Imean Jay)?Jay Walking wrote:Its not true. Scott isnt the coach

I think Scotty would do a good job. Awesome player and definitely has a lot of knowledge about the game. Now that he is a personal trainer he would definitely get the boys fit. A preseason boot camp The vista lads would be running rings around everyone.
Re: Any news on the Vista coaching front????
will be interested to see what the Vista boys wear to matches now......bit of a Fashionista is the new head man....could Vista be wearing Pink instead of Blue?

Its nothing against Scott and one day he could make a great coach. Its just not him that has the job is all.Farmer Joe wrote:Is that definite Oracle (Imean Jay)?Jay Walking wrote:Its not true. Scott isnt the coach

It takes 8 weeks to be a Personal Trainer. I had to work with them, some interesting egos. Nothing pointed at Scott there either. My brother is training to be a PT also.

I'm wetting myself with laughter here!
Hook, line and sinker.
Jason, not knowing is killing you isn't it?????
Too much dirty laundry was aired on this forum over the last 2 season so I'm guessing that this place will be the last to know. Luckily I know who has been appointed but I am going to keep you all in suspenders.

Are you going to include high heels with those suspenders?
I might just wait in suspense if that's OK with you.

All I will reveal is that a couple of decent signing are being actively pursued that will compliment our young squad.Jay Walking wrote:Nothing else happening, we need to talk about something lol.Vista09 wrote:Haha ppl need to get a life, worrying about our coach for next yr, its all taken care off so no need to worry everybody

Re: Any news on the Vista coaching front????
The concept that as a local supporter interested in the going on's of my local club and not being able to easily find out something like who the new coach is for 2009. It's not like it has been posted on the website to advise people.
Is there a reason why it is oh so secret?
And lastly no I'm not a keyboard warrior hiding behind his moniker so I can take the piss, so what's there to worry about?

Re: Any news on the Vista coaching front????
Vista was absolutely rubbish this season and they need a lot more then a new coach and a few new decent players to make a dent in Div 2 next season. You would need to sign at least 16 new good players to have a decent side for next season.Vista_Bhoy wrote:All I will reveal is that a couple of decent signing are being actively pursued that will compliment our young squad.Jay Walking wrote:Nothing else happening, we need to talk about something lol.Vista09 wrote:Haha ppl need to get a life, worrying about our coach for next yr, its all taken care off so no need to worry everybody
Vista has been saying watch this space for the last 5 years. The club appears to have so much potential through the juniors but very little converts to seniors. We have all been waiting and watching to see these hip shooters finally put there words into action, but it just does not happen. Sorry boys, next season will be no different.
Hopefully your new coach can bring this to the table and sort it out, then I believe success will eventually come your way.
