Angela has been with SASI for 3 years and spent the previous 6 to that in the boys league.

Who's to say the last 3 years of her development haven't been the most crucial?

The formation years up to about 14 or 15 are the crucial ones. By then the bad habits have been formed.
Hers I would say were forged within the metro boys squads. If she came through the girls/women's game then she would have been a different player.
The last 2 years have just given her the conduit to national selection.
Didn't she win this national comp to go over a train with Beckham when she was NOT in the girls comp? Hmmmm YEP!
