We have Best and Fairest/Runner Up for A's and B's, as well as a Most Improved and Top Club Man award. We do a full round by round count using PowerPoint/Projector... makes it a bit more interesting.

Also, one of the guys has put the photos/video taken over the year into a presentation to be shown on the projector.

We did Sunday lunches for a couple of years, which was good for the older guys/families. Ours is on a Friday night this year and everyone is happy with the arrangement - sit-down, three course meal.

The mighty Brahma having theres as per normal at the Brahma Lodge Hotel. Formal event, 3 course meal and drink specials.

From memory, which tends to get a bit hazy round the time awards get given, we have B&F and runner up, Coaches player, players player, top goal scorer, most improved and clubperson.

Always a top night

At least they have a preso night.
Apparently the downs have to have it on a weeknight, around wed or thurs night which co-incides with the dole cheque receipt.

Their trophy's are usually

Best stolen car
Best stolen Thong
Best stolen shoe/other thong
Best chuck up
Best excuse at the dole office(centrelink)
Best MULLET
Best B.O.
Best dressed - designer labels stolen from kmart/big w
Best Insult to other own supporter
Best beer can collections
etc etc

and they have runner up awards as well, usually plastic

Athelstone are having a semiformal 3 course meal. Should be good this year. We have a good crowd coming from the A's B's and Womens team.

As far as the awards go I think its something like B&F, Players player and Coaches Award. We also have Alan Lomax Award for best club person and life members annouced and presented with gift.

Its always a good night involving lots of alcohol. This year should be even better celebrating winning Div
