If Pumas goalkeeper got sent off for punching might hurt them, depends on how reserve goalkeeper is (by the look of the league he gets plenty of practice!) and how many weeks he gets!
Whats silly is, that day he got booted in the head and had a black eye which he couldnt see out of for a week and he retaliated ( with a push mind you, no punches were thrown) and got a 3 week suspension, the guy that kicked him in the head stayed on the pitch and kept playing.
Sorry to say but being a goalkeeper myself when the ball is loose on the ground you are going to get kicked in the head from time to time. No one likes to see anyone hurt but it happens. If you retaliate you wear the consequences.
For the record I have been concussed, broken arm, broken fingers all from similar situations. What I don't like is those that follow through when the ball is in your hands.
