The girls have beaten Sydney - great win. 8)
They are improving each game, and there is no reason why we shouldn't continue to see improvements.
So - why don't we as supporters try to improve our contribution by turning up to watch the games?
Lets all do what we can to get even more peole at the next home game on Saturday 29 Nov, 2:30pm Kick-Off at Hindmarsh.
They will be playing Melbourne Victory, so I'm sure we would all like to see the girls win that game!?

Hey I don't mean to accuse anybody here! Everybody criticises SASI or the cup final etc, so it's normal that ppl criticise wleague too. Everybody knows that it's a team effort, but sometimes someone stands out anyway. Sharon Black stood out for her free kick, others for other things...

Obviously Sharon's free kick was also due to the team that created it, but then what you remember is her taking it... :D

No disrespect intended  Team is doing great!

I enjoy reading the posts of Shorty. Over the years you have matured and so has your writing. From a young player who gave everything and let rip on this forum and slammed the "establishment" and supported your sis to someone who is diplomatic, supportive of the establishment and ready to play the party line. In fact a team player. I miss the old time Shorty.

thanks "btk"!!

thats why a lot of soccer players dont make it in this day and age - coz not only are they being boosted by their parents that they are gods gift of socccer players they also have an ego that could take on the world....
In a team sport you cant afford to have an ego or you'll never make it - not in club, national league or playing for your country...

there's a difference between having an ego - and playing an ego..........

i felt a bit sorry for adel's keeper, i just saw the first goal on abc, ive done it before and im sure many more have, you learn the hard way but sometimes you just have to kick the ball out for a throw in instead of trying for up the ground, mind you ive also had to clear for a throw in and they scored from that move so i copped the blame anyway!
the second, well it was some free kick, certainly cant blame her for that.
we are just easy targets & im sure mike b wont be blaming her for the goals, he see's the game from many angles, even ours!

If the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) can do this, I'm sure we can get the Advertiser to follow suit. Come on everyone, email the Advertiser and ask for photos of the Adelaide United W-League games - tiser@adv.newsltd.com.au
