Good appointment but it kills off any chance I had of luring Ryan Kaftan to the Farm :(

All the best to Steve next year.

I thought he had only recently left a coaching position at the Pirates. Why would he want to go back there again?

I think applications close this Friday.
I know of a few names "thinking of" or "have" put their names in the hat but cannot disclose as yet.

Will post when committee chooses.

Is Bert going to be a player/coach at the Downs?

Maybe come off the bench as a super sub?

Bert will have them so fit there will be no need for subs next year.

Jay - sounds like a case of personality conflict to me.

First rule of being a coach - eventually no one will like you or your decisions

Sounds like a case of sour grapes. I have had numerous coaches over the years who have excelled well, were very much liked by all at the club and have remained there for quite a few years.
