Chelsea supporters might not use the excuse but:

No Joe Cole. Ballack, Drogba or Essien. 4 of the best players in the world probably impacted the result, given pool were also missing Torres.

GIVE HIM A SHOT UP THERE WITH TORRES RAFA. motm: caragher. 1 of the best defenders in the premierleague. we broke the record. we are top of the league but we can't get complacent. still another 29 games left. i have said this once and i'll say it again: kuyt is useless. so what hes banged in a few goals...what else does he do? nothing. play el zhar, yossi or babel. i couldnt be more happier with that. chelsea had more possesion but we had better chances to win. stunning volley by gerrard with his opposite foot. alonso was very unlucky. oh well i am over the moon :D
LIVERPOOOOOOOL!
Couldn't have said it better.

Even though it didnt help but definitely not an excuse. Missed Drogba & J.Cole the most though.

Defiantely missed Dogba up front the most... that extra strength and power Anelka lacks would of made a big difference against Pool, especially cos he usually makes Agger look a bit silly.

And who the fuck is Bosingwa?!?!? Riera took the piss... add to the fact Liverpool let him have as much space and time as he wanted to cross... we were going to deal with them all day with no Dogba.

Just love how quiet the board from the chavs... bunch of bandwagoners that you all are, one loss and its all gone quiet. YOU ONLY SING WHEN YOUR IN FRONT!!!

LOL.
I must agree, easily the biggest joke of a post by MUFCBOY. Is he having hard time coming to terms with the fact Liverpol may actually put in some fight for the title this season?!?!

To be honest I dont think Chelski were ever going to score last night... one decent chance in 90 minutes of football where they had 64% possession. The way ManUSA defended on the weekend, Chelski would of smashed five past them!

joke of a post? u cant be serious mate, read below at wat strappineastie wrote(chelsea fan) and ull c even he too admited that was the worst performance by chelsea for a long time. they had no fluency, the best chance they had was from ashley cole with about 10 mins to go, and even then he didnt even force a save from the keeper... still i gave credit 2 pool for hw they played, but even u have 2 admit chelsea were pretty ordinary with the amount of players they had out

kuyt is a hard running son of a bitch,

play babel for him and you wont carve out as many chances or stop as many opposition chances, can not come to terms with the fact you liverpool supporters sit here and bag him.

MUFCBOY-teams don't just play bad, other teams have to make them play that way. i am sure all 10 outfield players can't just play like shit. we deserve the credit. we defended brilliantly and looked dangerous going up. kuyt was hopeless. i don't care what he has done this season because he only gets noticed when he scores. the rest of the game he does fuck all apart from last week.

Not at all just having a rye smile at all the pool supporters, enjoy the moment boys. What can one say, we didn't play at all well and didn't deserve to win.

Had plenty of the ball but broke down in the final third when it mattered.

On the day were out played. No biggy. It will be interesting to see how they go next weekend. We have another tough one travelling up to Hull 8) and on that performance we are just as likely to drop points there too.

Can't see Pool playing and defending any better than the way they did, even with Torres and a fully fit Keane. Lets see where the two teams are come the end of January.

Not going to use the players that aren't available as an excuse, we have a big squad, Pool put us under pressure from the word go and we didn't respond. We had to lose sooner or later at the Bridge, to all of a sudden declare that the Bridge is no longer a fortress is a tad silly me thinks, one win there in 20 years I think is their record. We are just as likely to go another 86 games with out defeat their now.

I know it may sound silly but that result might do us more good than harm and Pool more harm than good. We shall see.

This is the first time since I have had a chance to review the game on here but quite simply, Liverpool deserved the 3points and not going to take it away from them.. On the other hand we played like rubbish but it was more than likely because of the pressure that was applied..

I havent posted on the forums about how I feel about Kalou and Malouda but they proved to me last night that I am correct and that is they are not that fantastic.. Yes Kalou scored two goals last week but look at the quality of goals.. Anelka cant do a thing right, he cant simply control the ball..

The injuries hurt us but once again not going to say it was all about the injuries, we have depth and the players didnt put in a good enough effort.. Miss Drogba a hell of a lot.. There is a huge positive still and that is there is still a huge number of games left and quality to come back into the side so I am not that dissapointed with the fact that we lost, its a good reality check..

Why was he so 'wiked' as you put it?

He had hardly any impact at all on the game, succesful dribbles was close to 0. If he played 'wiked' against Man U, what word can you use to describe his last few weeks as they have truly outclassed his apprent great game at ManU. Maybe he wasnt shite, but he definately didnt have a good game...

Well maybe it was just me then lol...But I thought he had a great debut against Utd. He made a number of successful dribbles as far as I recall, although I was half pissed that night, so don't hold me to it.
From what I remember though, I was really happy with how Riera looked against them. But yeah, his performances have been better lately. Quickly becoming one of my favourites tbh. Nobody can displace Agger for me though, he's easily my fav.

because babel>kuyt. babel is a tricky player with a good shot. kuyt wouldn't even be able to get to the ball before terry when its played to him.
and imo riera was one of the standouts vs man u. he made wes brown look like a :clown:

Wow, many many Agger lovers out there! Yeah ok maybe i was a tad harsh on Riera against ManU, but i agree - he is quickly becoming my favourites!

PS. If i hate how Mach gets stupid yellow cards - all the time.

Ah fair enough then..see I was only half smashed for the game..so I would've been a little concerned if I was completely wrong about him
Mm, I don't remember him having a dispointing game for us so far, although he's stood out more recently. Looks like exactly what we have been craving, and was really cheap for a player of his quality too.

My Favs:
1. Agger
2. Mascherano
3. Arbeloa

But Riera is fast approaching Arbeloa...Hope he can keep it up.

not really. i saw a cole get up a lot. he even almost scored. chelsea played bosingwas side a lot as well. most of the times a player went to take on kuyt, he didn't jockey he just went in for the tackle and they stepped around him. you really love kuyt don't you.
and yes agger is a favourite of mine

I'm an anywhere through the centre player lol. My best position is CM, although I can play CB and ST. So yeah, I dunno where this loving defenders thing comes from lol..
The reason I love Agger so much is because he's so damn skillful for a CB, and hell take the ball for runs. He's also got a keen eye for goal.
And I like Masch because he truly loves playing for Liverpool. Seeing his celebration as he scored against Man City last season really boosted him up in my books. Love the guy now.
And the main reason I like Arbeloa is because he's so under-rated by most fans. He does his job almost perfectly week in, week out, yet when people talk about signing new players, they immediately jump to a new RB. He makes probably the fewest errors in our side. He's a solid RB, whom I wouldn't replace.

Of course I rly like Gerrard, Torres and Carra, but that sorta goes without saying for Liverpool fans..so yeah. The three mentioned have to be my favs tho.

Lol I played all three last time I played Torres.
I started off at CB, got moved up to CM just after HT and then finished as ST...missed a sitter that day
All I had to do was chip the keeper, but I overhit it lol.
