Pretty sure there is a volunteer of the year award. Not sure how its chosen, but its given as a volunteer across the sport rather than at club level i think. One year i went they gave the award to a guy who volunteered a lot of his time to renovate the SAWSA clubrooms at the home ground and that sort of thing

On Friday 17 October 2008, SAWSA held their annual awards night to celebrate and acknowledge outstanding achievements by teams as well as individuals. One of the highlights of the evening was the voting in the Shirley Brown Premier Division Player of the Year sponsored by Top Corner Sports.
This year for the first time voting was displayed for the last three rounds of the season. In one of the closest vote counts in the history of the award, with one round remaining, three players were tied on 18 pts, Sharon Black, Kristyn Swaffer and Racheal Quigley. In addition, Adelaide City players Lia Augimeri was on 17 pts and Sandra Scalzi was on 16pts going into the last round of votes.
In the last round of vote counts, Sandra Scalzi gained best on ground votes, taking her tally to 19pts and with only one game remaining to be counted, Sturt Marion and Western Districts, only Sharon Black and Kristyn Swaffer could overtake Sandra at the top of the leader board. With Kristyn Swaffer polling one vote and Sharon Black 2pts, Sharon took the lead and the award for the second consecutive year.
