The following headline appeared in the sport pages of the Advertiser today:

"Bulldogs lose bite in title race"

I thought it was maybe a report on the Vista game yesterday???

I decided a few years ago to stop posting on this site and true to my word, this is my first post in a good couple of years.
This is a special case as the topic is regarding an exceptional man but more so the end of an era. For many years now, when people think of Vista they often end up talking about Bulldog.
It is not uncommon for someone to spend years at one club, first as a player then maybe as a coach. But rarely does one person have such an impact on not only the football played but the culture of the club.
Having been coached by the Bulldog as a junior then given the chance to play along side him in the senior side I knew that he was a great club man and a very good player in his own right. But not until I ventured back to the mighty Vista a few years later did I realize what an exceptional and passionate coach he had become. Lets be honest, most of the blokes out there are there because Bulldog is. That is why I went back!. The fact that he has been trying to quit as senior coach for the past 3 years just tells everyone that this man has so much love for his club that he cant let go unless he is sure it is in safe hands and continues to head in the right direction.

Bulldog, for all the people I have met and friends I have made through this wonderful game you sit right up there with the best of them. Thanks for showing me that there is more to football than just winning and losing. PRIDE HONOUR RESPECT.

Ivan is still there mate, drinking with Bruce and the bhoys. He has a crook knee so I'm not sure we'll see him play next season for the over 35's

I think the Dutch Delight might be a reference to his favourite player that he likes to Jackoff to.
