First of all how is Jols run any different to Ramos in fact Ramos has been worse we didnt win after the Carling cup final last year so from Feb to May we were on holiday and we obviously havent won this season please explain. At least with Jol we were making big progress in little time i mean finishing 5th and nearly pinching fourth place is pretty fucking good to me since we have never finished above 9th ever. Whos fault was it when we were penny pinching for Berba? Commoli and Levy surprise surprise they have fucking ruined the club i cant believe no one is doing a dame thing about it. Gomes has let in some soft goals this year i mean even against Hull Geovanni was basically on the half way line and he just watched it go in, I think it will be a long season for us fighting to stay up and i really hope someone takes charge of the January signings because those 2 other twats have made a mockery of this one.ramosrules wrote:Champ, i pretty much agree with nothing in your post so ill start from the top.SPURS18 wrote:Its not looking good guys im worried, it all started with those two twats Commolli and Levy they have ruined the club getting rid of Jol after he got us finishing 5th two years in a row which is our highest finish ever it just doesnt make sense and then to blow 77 million on players that are average at best Modric is bottle of shiraz terrible what a waste of money he is same with Bent, i would have prefer to sign Romario then Pav oh and by the way hes out for 3 weeks but thank god we have quality replacements in the striking department, Campbells a joke to young and his comments in the transfer window really sums him up, Gomes is worse than Robinson i didnt think that was possible, the 546 turns corners better than Corluka he looks so sluggish, King really needs to start playing every game, Bales been excellent Gunther is solid and will improve with time Woodgates been disappointing but it doesnt help when theres a new face next to you every game Gio looks ok but a little young i love his runs needs to start doing it more Lennons improved alot but i would like him to have an impact like the way Young does for Villa similar players skillful, lightning quick. Zokoras been ok needs to start snapping some champagne in the midfield though
Jol's run of form before he got sacked was terrible, not unlike Ramos's current one, so im guessing you were calling for his head as well d (I dont think either of them should have or be sacked) and just so we dont get too deluded we were easily the 5th best team one year, the next year we sold our most influential player, i.e. Carrick and we only came 5th on the last day of the season and was no where near breaking the top four.
We 'Blow' 77 Million on players because our best players want to leave and play for better champions league clubs, we came in about even this window. Campbell only came here cause we couldn't get Asharvin, Garcia, Milito or whoever else we were supposed to get, penny pinching for Berba cost us big time.
Corluka is head and houlders above Dawson. King will never play every game, he shouldn't be captain and he should only be brought into the Uefa games so that Woody and Corluka can gain some consistancy.
Woodgate didn't play well on the weekend but he has pretty much been our best player so far this season, im not sure what games your watching. Gomes worst than Robinson?? some ppl have really short memories.
Lennon was at this best two years ago, he was bad last year and has got a little better this year, he still cant cross, it amazes me how a professional footballer onthe brink of the national team who obviously needs to practise practise practise his crossing is still bad, maybe its not his fault he has never really looked like a really good naturally gifted footballer, he just has pace to burn I hate to say it but Walnut from the woolwich wanderers looks twice as good as Lennon.
I think we will eventually come good, i certainly hope we do, I can see us spending that Berba money in january on a forward or two (Heskey and Owen? maybe Asharvin), possibly selling Bent and hopefully splurging on someone like Barry.
While most of the stuff you posted makes sense,,,,, im pretty sure most fans weren't happy when Jol got the sack, most fans were pretty disgusted and even during his last match in charge there were chants of stand up for Martin Jol with the whole crowd standing (its on youtube). Was during a Uefa match and most of the crowd/players found out by half time, before even Jol knew, even if i was a Jol hater (which im not) that is shocking practise to say the least. Just in case anyone didnt know Jol is a huge Spurs fan and even since hes been sacked hes said nothing but good things about Tottenham, plus he hated Wengker, which as you could imagine was a bit of a plus.LFTWNG11 wrote:you blokes were heaps happy when Ramos came in for Jol... hell even I thought it was a good move!!! But alas the problem lies much deeper than that, I think both Jol and Ramos could of/can succeed if the situation is right, with those 2 's in charge you havent got a chance. Imagine not letting the manager have any say in buying and selling players?!?
Malbronque was a gun, but you keep Lennon/Huddlestone/who ever no name was in there recently... you could get a lot of money for Lennon, and he really isn't tht good. Jermaine Pennant in disguise.
Modric, Bentley, GDS and Jenas. Where is your top class defensive midfielder to release these players?
Even "worst" move than you not turning up for English classes.delfino_1936 wrote: at Corluka leaving Man Citeh for Spuds, worst move than Bentley leaving Blackburn

Sure he hasn't been playing at his best but who else would you rather play? I would take Corluka over Dawson and Gunter any day.SPURS18 wrote:King Ledley wrote:The stuff in bold is absolute nonsenseSPURS18 wrote:Its not looking good guys im worried, it all started with those two twats Commolli and Levy they have ruined the club getting rid of Jol after he got us finishing 5th two years in a row which is our highest finish ever it just doesnt make sense and then to blow 77 million on players that are average at best Modric is bottle of shiraz terrible what a waste of money he is same with Bent, i would have prefer to sign Romario then Pav oh and by the way hes out for 3 weeks but thank god we have quality replacements in the striking department, Campbells a joke to young and his comments in the transfer window really sums him up, Gomes is worse than Robinson i didnt think that was possible, the 546 turns corners better than Corluka he looks so sluggish, King really needs to start playing every game, Bales been excellent Gunther is solid and will improve with time Woodgates been disappointing but it doesnt help when theres a new face next to you every game Gio looks ok but a little young i love his runs needs to start doing it more Lennons improved alot but i would like him to have an impact like the way Young does for Villa similar players skillful, lightning quick. Just looks a little slow, i dont think hes been playing badly but i think he has some improving to do and as he has only played maybe 5 games, im sure he will improve.barbarez01 wrote:Corluka has been Tottenhams best player in recent weeks, when everyone has been putting in shite performances he is the only one that is doing ok.

Tottenham midfielder David Bentley admits the Premier League's bottom club have become a laughing stock as they have claimed just two points from their first seven matches - their worst start to a season since 1912.

lol @ reports Juve are in for Modric!
what would you consider turning it around, couple wins at home.SpursOnTheRise wrote:Apparently the club has given Ramos 6 games to turn things around, if not, hes out.
make it, you guys should be at least getting 10 points from 5 games, because i've already written in a loss in boldSpursOnTheRise wrote:Our next 6 games are, Stoke, Bolton, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Fulham. I think he would need to get atleast 10 points from those to keep the job.
Yeah and at the bridge we got a very respectabal draw. Agree with what u have said P7pires7 wrote:what would you consider turning it around, couple wins at home.SpursOnTheRise wrote:Apparently the club has given Ramos 6 games to turn things around, if not, hes out.
I can't believe early on in the year, I expected spurs to pick up points from the majority of their games bar Chelsea at the Bridge. There must be a logical explanation for the poor start. Looks like the club need to find people who can put their finger on it.
Vedad Ibišević was a great Tottenham reinforcement, claim English media. Specifically, the web-site www.sportigo.com English journalist brings current analysis part of the season for "spurse", that is, for reminders, are on the last place in the Premiership.
Journalist Sportiga so suggest the leadership team from London to seek some new solutions in the attack, since the arrival of Russians Pavlyuchenka Romana, which is next to that of injured, failed to compensate for the departure of Bulgarian Dimitri Berbatov and Robbie Kean.
"The problem can be solved by Tottenham two players who are currently attracting attention all over Europe football. One of them is the Bosnian-Herzegovinian attacker Hoffenheima Vedad Ibišević who is currently Bundesliga top scorer with seven hits achieved. Game reminiscent of Berbatov, ongoing threat to the opponent's goal, even has a similar physical material as the Bulgarian attacker. The ratio of its price and quality is extremely favorable, so that its restoration would represent a real hit for Spurs ", stands at sportigo.com.
