Doesn't look like we're serious about this league.

Gubs...why?

All of them won't know what's hit them. Its not like playing in the Prems.

A couple of the smaller ones will get smashed. They're not exactly world beaters at prems level and woudl be totally ineffectual in the w-league. Some are just injury prone some have limited skill and that's the sum total!

Getting the right mix and player is important. Macca (developing) Quigs, Shorty and Ebs are probably the best. The others?

yeh but players like macca have had experience at australian camps others might not have and although compared to some of the older more experienced girls from other states she may only be considered a devleoping player it would be a huge chance for her to develop her skills more and become a better player and also because she is young it means she has the chance to continue to develop her skills and as w-league continues when the once older players start to slow down and stop playing she will have the experience to lead the younger girls of the squad that others might not

U always need 2 for game days and travelling and a 3rd to cover any injuries. Emma isnt 100% fit at the moment and may take some time getting back into things. Its only logic to have three imo

3 would be ideal, but the issue would be that there are only 18 spots in the squad right? atm the squad is at 22, so they still have to cut a few. Goodluck to all players involved!

coz im not. i didnt trial and even if i did there are people already there who are better than me. I have other things going on too

I would never have less than 3 keepers in the final squad, its not an area u can take lightly. You cant just chuck anyone in goals if one or two keepers are injured. Not many understand the physical requirements of goal keeper training and the toll that it takes on ur body and therefore 3 is ideal

That's cool, didn't realise you didn't trial. Good luck with your other endeavours.

There are more. They obviously have a reason for not releasing other names. It will be on the Adelaide United website when all contracts are made final

My apologies. Didnt see the other thread. Heres me thinking it would all be in the W-League topic with everything else.
