She's fairly laid back but I really like Keren Ann's voice and style.
Apparently she speaks about 5 languages ?

alternative version (shows guitar chords)
Fils De Cham :
Tandis qu'au confins du néant
De concert, hurlent au mitan
Nuées de bossus soi-disant
Buvons aux maures et aux gisants

Au loin le râle des damnés
Monte comme funiculaire
L'ami les rameaux ont fané
Buvons au bal des chimères

[REFRAIN]
Vienne la pluie, l'ami
Tombe la grêle
Je plie mais jamais ne m'oublie

A l'heure où sous l'écorce
Faillit la Force (c-cling baby)
Le voici, le voilà
Mon avis

REFRAIN

Il ne s'agit pas messieurs
D'occire ou piller à tout va

Changer le monde
S'il se peut
L'adoucir
A défaut d'en être la lie...

REFRAIN

Years ago (remembering I am an old bastard) I bought an Mickey Newbury double album (1 disc live recording and 1 studio recording )for ~$2, I'd never heard of him before but it contained some great songs and live banter.
He's probably not most peoples cup of tea but I find the melancholy in his songs quite appealing.

Mickey Newbury - American Trilogy
Mickey Newbury is a songwriter most famous for a song he arranged, but did not write. One night in Los Angeles, at a time of national distress over war and race issues in the U.S.A., Newbury spontaneously combined a southern anthem (written by a northerner), a northern anthem (written by a southerner), and an old African healing song. In the audience that night were many celebrities, Odetta, Kristofferson and Streisand among them. The trio of songs brought tears to Odetta's eyes. It came to be called An American Trilogy, and would be adopted by Elvis Presley as the centerpiece of his later concerts.

oxygen tubes to help him breath.
He passed away not long after this performance !

Bloodrock - Breach Of Lease
Long intro takes a few moments to build up.
Sound only (and album cover) Another vinyl I purchase for $1 back in the 70's.
youYube wrote:The band was discovered by Grand Funk Railroad record producer Terry Knight and signed to Capitol Records. Knight produced the first three, and most popular, Bloodrock albums.
Bloodrock was best known for the song "D.O.A." (Dead On Arrival), about the victim of a gory airplane crash which became their only hit single, reaching #36 on the music charts in January 1971. They were only marginally popular in the United States and were essentially a cult band, but reportedly became a favorite among troops in Vietnam.
The band was technically competent but offered little that was unique and was unable to sustain any real success. The group was noted for hard pulsed bass, biting guitar solos and a haunting organ sound.
The early albums featured a heavy metal sound reminiscent of other hard rock bands at the time, such as Grand Funk Railroad and Black Sabbath. The lyrics were unusually cynical for the time, exploring such themes as alienation and revenge, which would later be found in abundance in the punk rock scene, but seemed out of place in the post-Woodstock period of the early 1970s. Songs which were fan favorites included "Kool-Aid Kids," "Gotta Find a Way", "Castle of Thoughts", "Breach of Lease", "Cheater", "D.O.A.", and "Lucky in the Morning."
