Having said that Wanderers did lose 2-5 to West Beach in the Cup ?
Also, why are they playing at Adelaide City's ground.
Why not let an Amateur Club benefit from the day...ie West Beach is a good playing surface ?
Yeah, my bad, you're right.Broken_leg wrote:Wanderers Reserves lost to West Beach 5-2.swannsong wrote:Don't under estimate the Wanderers, they have a lot of experienced players....

I was at both of those. Africa finished 2-2, then won 4-3 on penalties.swannsong wrote:Yeah, my bad, you're right.
Wanderers lost to African United Allstars 5-6 (penalties I assume)
The WANDERERS vs The DUCKY BOYS Vale. You boys might need help from The Riffs & The Baldies to get over the vale.Sirslapsalot wrote:This Sunday it's the next instalment of the never ending Saturday vs Sunday debate...

I'd agree mate, should support the Amateur league and play at an Amateur ground!!swannsong wrote:Don't under estimate the Wanderers, they have a lot of experienced players....

Tomorrow should be out anyways, because there is an Adelaide United game on + something else happening in Victoria... Hindmarsh would have been nice, it's looking a treat at the moment too!! Especially when Cornflakes scored that header!!Power04 wrote:Why is the game on a Sunday?
This would most definately, favour the vale and their supporters.
I will try and get down there, GO THE WANDERER'S!
Should have been Friday night at Hindmarsh, this would be 100% neutral, and boy I recknon, you'd
sell the place out. Whatever it cost to hire Hindmarsh, the SAASL, should have invested in these
two teams to play there, this is the least they deserve, for being respective champions of their
top divisions on their days.
(Mabye I can pick Alepou up, he's a Wanderer's supporter)

Considering Bob D is the guy who is paying for all the prize money I would say it is the least that we can do. Its called looking after your sponsors. It gets Best Bricks, Adelaide City and Oakden Central some exposure so good on them.Sirslapsalot wrote:I'd agree mate, should support the Amateur league and play at an Amateur ground!!swannsong wrote:Don't under estimate the Wanderers, they have a lot of experienced players....

But now we know the venue, it'd be great for as many people as possible to get out there - even the neutrals to see the SAASL is a great competition.
May the vest team win.
Really? What's that then? Do victory have a game or something?Sirslapsalot wrote:+ something else happening in Victoria...
maybe in victoria, turf cricket in adelaide is not for 2 weeks yet.Bodø Glimt wrote:Cricket season kicking off perhaps?
There is plenty of space to kick around, 2 pitches there as well as some spare ground near the road as well (it's fenced in as well, so road is not an issue. There is not a playground though, you would have to go into Northgate for that.swannsong wrote:Not sure if I've ever been to Oakden ?
Any facilities for kids there ie. playground, somewhere to kick around ?
In fact, it's today!Hawkesy wrote:maybe in victoria, turf cricket in adelaide is not for 2 weeks yet.Bodø Glimt wrote:Cricket season kicking off perhaps?
