its time to go..........bulldog.
well 16 years down the track.coached juniors.played for 10 years(plus less impressive cameo rolls)and coached seniors for 6 years, and now folks its time to say 3 more games then its goodbye from me and its goodbye from him.
its time the vista bus rolled on with a new driver at the wheel, whom ever it may be.
i've had more that my fair share of mileage.
had the chance to meet some top gezza's along the way,MJ,CRAZY,SIDS,ALTY,MARTY O,YOUNG ROCCA,PC,BIG BILL,MAROONED,DANNY S,AND THE LIST GOES ON.
been very lucky to stumble upon vista back in 90 and they have put up with me ever since.
but never has a league been so injoyable to be apart of than div 2 this year, which is a credit to all the coaches and players of the teams involved.
however they won't get rid of me that easy,i'll be around the scene's,on the committee, whatever is needed to take vista to the next level, both on and off the field.
p.s and no i'm not pissed
thanks pips you know who you are.
PRIDE HONOUR RESPECT.

Its been an honour to part of that career, having been coached by you at junior and senior level and playing along side you there is no one at the club i have more respect for. You are a credit to vista, you gave us our moto PRIDE HONOUR RESPECT and you have lived up to it each and everyday. Hopefully someone with as much passion for the club will step up and take charge next year, personally i can only think of one person with that much passion who knows hey.

Well done on your Vista career mate. We certainly have had some fond memories (the party's after our 93 and 94 league wins will never be forgotten (well I can't remember much but that's not the point ) and the Sydney end of season trip will never, ever be topped (just ask Qantas). Lets hope 2006 will see another championship party!
Have you taken up JW's offer then? Or should we start a rumour that Limnos have poached you
And Mr football, you said you'd respect me in the morning

Well done Bulldog. I think you can hold up your head and say that you have taken Vista to the next level on the field......and I know how passionate you are to improve the club off the field in the future.
To all the A's and B's - Lets make sure we win our last three games to take us into Div 1 for the first time in the clubs history. As Vista Bhoy has said it will be a hell of a party so let's send Bulldog off with a bang and be celebrating on the 3rd Sept.
Cheers Bulldog - and thanks for the advice and friendship over the years.

Well you've been up for eviction from the house for the last 4 years, but the voting Australian public has always kept you in the house. It's probably now time to leave the house after that infamous 'turkey slapping' incident after the win against Pumas!
It's a shame that you leave after 6 years, as you could have got pro-rata long service leave after 7 years.
Well, I would say job well done, but it isn't finished yet. Another 3 games to go - so let's see what happens!
If anyone asks me what leaving gift you want, I would suggest golf lessons!
"Gaffer 1990-2006"
300 odd games - 2 goals!!

i will still be at the club but as has been said the club needs to step up alittle off the field so that's my aim.plus i'll always be there to assist whom ever may take over.also keen to get involved with the EFI as the offer is there,so yeah that's my plans.diegom wrote:WHERE U OFF 2 BULLDOG??????????

Been an honour and a pleasure Chief! You were the first person I met at the club when I arrived over 6 years ago, and one of the reasons I've changed my mind about retiring 3 years running!! You belived in me enough to give me the Captains armband in my first full season, of that I'm truly gratefull.
