Liverpool v Manchester United
Liverpool have only scored one goal against Man Utd in eight league games under Rafa Benitez and that was an own goal by John O’Shea.
There have only been four goals scored in the last five meetings between United and Liverpool at Anfield.
Liverpool have failed to score in their last seven Premier League games Manchester United, the joint-worst run of any fixture in Premier League history.
All of Liverpool’s goals in all competitions this season have been netted in the final 10 minutes of matches.
United have won 10 and lost only one of the last 12 league meetings with Liverpool.
Rio Ferdinand has scored three Premier League goals against Liverpool, he has not scored more than one against any other top-flight side.
Liverpool have lost only one of their last 18 Premier League games – that was the 3-0 loss to Man Utd in March.
United have won nine times at Anfield in the Premier League area – no other team has won more than three times on Liverpool’s home patch.
Liverpool are looking for their 50th league win over Manchester United.
Robbie Keane has made more Premier League starts (14) against Man Utd than any other club but he has never scored against them.

Re: Liverpool v Manchester United
wonder wat will happen when keane and berba clash. id rather pool take this one. its tough to predict, recent matches make me lean towards united, but its a new season, anything could happen. im gonna say pool to take it 2-1 in the 94th minute again
Re: Liverpool v Manchester United
will be a tough game if stevie g and torres dont get up, i think it willmost probably be a dour 0-0 or 1-1. that is if rafa keeps playing with the formation and personel he has been.
if the right formation and personel is used, liverpool are capable or being world beaters. but if he keeps playing so negatively with players who are battlers rather than players that can win us the game, then we will just be also rans every year.
give some true class players a shot, and play these players in position, the time for battlers who can bog down a game and run thier guts out is in the last bit of the game when we are holding onto a lead.
come on rafa, give us a chance of winning

gerrard and torres are hopeless when under an injury cloud, so i think them playing will hinder rather than help us
