If the team is going to be made up of many "new players" not necessarily the "big names" we have been accustomed to, how competitive will the squad be?

So potentially, some of these players will be heading into battle for the W-league Adelaide team? either we have had the wrong people out to trial or ????

I think Sad Gal's comments below are probably around the mark

Hope what I have read below is nothing more than mischevious rumour.

If it is 18 then the squad of 31 has to get cut down to 16 because they have already signed Di alagich and Victoria Balomenos.

So more than half of those girls out there will miss out.

I've heard whispers that other signings have been made but no announcements about them yet...

I think they are further into the process than what the general footballing public are lead to believe.

Dr. D....Please explain

p.s this would explain why why why????

P.s as far as forwards goes, Quigley would be my first choice. No offence, but Quigs is a no nonsense and brilliant player of the ball. Hard working and is not one dimensional. Plays OTHER PEOPLE INTO THE GAME and they reciproacate and play her into the game as well. This is something that ha been lacking in recent Sensations teams. Why? Make your own call.

reps obvioulsy mean nothing when players have been selected so lets hope the coaches try something different in the line up.

there will prob only be spots for 8 or so players, as the rest of the "top" players in Aus will be shared out among the w league teams, after the intial local signings of di and vicki. so plenty are going to miss out.

Fair enough karma 10 however, we need to recruit a good keeper with Macca as 2nd. Important fior her development that ther is a quality keeper around her.

Di I agree

SAD GAL, what further explanation do you need. I have heard that other signings have been made besides Di and Victoria. Therefore I am making an assumption that the signings are further along that what we believe, given that we all believe that only Di and Victoria have been signed thus far and there is information to suggest otherwise.

Further to that if you want me to name names I cannot, because I'm an alcoholic and I can't remember their names
