My grand father played for arsenal, my uncle for spurs - I'm still shit though!!
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Colossus: One House

Costa: One Lunch

Oh and add in

Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

funny isnt it
vipers lose this brazilian player and they drop on the ladder
no win in 3 weeks??
somethings not right
however i believe the ground at villa had an effect on the way vipers played
at Salisbury

This player was a pretty big loss definitely. I'd could only imagine what he could have learnt by sticking around!

From what i remember, the Vipers played at Villa what...10-11 weeks ago when they were in the top 2? The ground was alot better then...

I went there on wednesday for the catch up match and there was a lot of sand on the pitch, but in the end both sides play on the same pitch.

True, but one team is more farmiliar with there own pitch, seeing they play there every other week and at training.

Everyone would have that advantage when they play at home. For those that aren't used to it the lines on the Vipers' pitch can be confusing. I lost count of the number of times Burundi players picked up a ball for a throw in when mistaking the white line for a yellow one/

Bodo i agree with what u say about lines on Vipers pitch.
I must tell u that the day you came Out & watched that game
it was the first played on that pitch. Vipers usually play on other pitch
that just happened to be out of action due to it been ripped up.
This was a council ruling that no activity take place until further notice at the time.
Its a shame because in the first half of season Vipers had been undefeated on their main pitch.
No excuses for recent form but i remember watching 'twilight zone' = SPOOKY
In 1854 Thomas Aitken had a hard earned thirst.

To be honest I initially didn't pick up that the lines were yellow. It wasn't until one of the Burundi players picked up the ball after crossing the white one and I just thought "wrong line" to myself and one of the Vipers fans yelled out "yellow line" that I realized that the color was in fact different. Much like nets on the goals I suppose.... you know they're there but don't think too much about what color they are.

One thing I can say at Salisbury Villa was they had half way line flags. I don't think I've seen them in over a decade.

I believe the lines are now marked sky blue, to match there club colours.

Pitty about the main pitch being un-usable, I have heard from their committee that the two African teams, "Simba of Congo" which are Sun div 5 where using it as there home pitch without permission, and also "Sierra" sun div 5. This is the reason the Vipers pitch and also the Tigers pitch are well worn. Wasn't until the council and the league hounded them they stopped using the Vipers pitch. I read on the website, that both teams home ground is WHS???? but I haven't seen a line marked there all year.

I'm surprised opposition teams didn't show up at the wrong ground there, unless of course if your ground is walking distance from the school ground. I've only been the the ground once before going to your game, and that was in summer with some friends to play 'back yard' cricket. It's amazing how many Chinese girls actually like to play cricket.
