I have heard from a friend of mine that the 4 schools in the final are
Gleeson
Unley
St George
and Cardjin

easily Gleeson should win it but Unley or Cardjin will play them in the final.

Our gleeson side has lost 2 players, good players also.

Our gleeson side has lost 2 players, good players also.

Cardjin lost a great player last week in the 5 a side competition at Underdale. It was a shocking injury and could be a huge loss for both Cardjin and South Adelaide.

indoor stages dont jump the gun u hav to win the semis 2 go to the indoor stages. but u didn't turn up so looks like Norwood, Adelaide, Underdale, Cardjin, St George and Charles Campbell are through

L8est 8/9 knockout results..

Semi Finals..
Gleeson 2-1 St.George.. Gleeson went 1-0 down to a scrappy gaol as player were muddled but the refs whistle..no excuse though..10 minutes to go gleeson scored an equalizer through a header..and then in the dying moments an attempted croos went into the back of the net..long way out aswell..

Unley 0-1 Cardijn
Didnt see all of the game but seemed fairly one sided..Unley seemed the team in the game but couldn't put away there chances.

Final
Gleeson 1-0 Cardijn
Both teams came out pumped and tired as they already both would have experienced high intensity games..Gleeson scored in the first half and then just held on to the lead..Cardijn had several oppurtunities but did not put them away..

All in all great games and a good contest..
Congrats to all teams who made it to these stages.

I went to the 8/9 knockout finals today and i enjoyed my self very much watching some great players from 4 different schools. BUT it came to my attention that the St George v Gleeson Semi Final match was very rough i mean Gleeson i honestly beilived that you guys played good soccer but this game didnt show that, you guys were hacking anything that was moving apart from your own teamates and i truly felt for the young striker from St george that had to come of for being Hacked and Cleaned up from behind so many times because Gleeson you's didnt play soccer in that semi your played more like a Rugby team. Thats my opinion no trying to start any Argument or anything just thought i should put up what i think of that game.

yes the game was rough..but you couldnt say that they play like a rugby team..yes the player that got hacked went off with some dirty challenges..but other than that..i dnt think u can say any other dirty challenges..i might add that many times throghout the game gleeson did play attractive soccer..many one touch passes and the physicality must be taken some games..your just going to get that..i also am not trying to start an arguement.. just an opinion also

Yes now that i think about it during the 1st half Gleeson controlled alot of the middle, but St George played some attractive soccer aswell it was a good game i just thought that Gleeson were abit dirty thats all.

Funniest match I've ever seen

Personally, the best two teams were Gleeson and St George, and that semi final match pretty much showed who was going to win the tournament.

I went to watch the final stage of the 8/9 knockout soccer and would like to congatulate all the teams who made the final stage on 8/9 knockout.
in the semi-final Gleeson played extreamly rough against St George which cost St George to lose a player.

as i was watching the comedy game between St george and Unley there was 1 person who caught my eye.

he played on the pitch and also in keeper. from what i heard his name was hasi or sumthing lyk that watch out boys from what i saw u cant score against him.

today at the finals gleeson had a great win but very lucky. funny game between St george and unley watch out for the keeper ;)
