life after juniors??
with the season almost up just wondering what everyone's opinion is on life after juniors.
for these guys in U17's that can no longer play in that divison next year but may not be quite strong enough a player to make the jump to 19's - where to...?
such a shame that some players who only start to show a bit of promise now may never get the chance to get anywhere, sure they can change clubs but as a young lad to leave your mates behind is not always a comforting thing considering these guys may have played together for many years.
its a pity that some of these guys may not ever come back to playing football once they have had a few years off...
any thoughts???

there are plenty of spots available in U19s, look at the knew clubs such Toros, Comets, NAB, Gawler struggling to find players for U19s, not to mention Seaford.
All they are all spread out, one in west, one south, one north, one east and one central.
plenty of spots available, i wouldnt be saying there isnt anywhere for them to play, i mean of course if there not good enough to play Super League 19s there are always other options with the clubs above.

Shit didn't know that people actually knew who I was, thnx alot I will think about Cambeltown to... you know when the trials are?anfieldboy wrote:strikerzebra, forget ABE, Campbelltown is the place to be.
everyone knows you carve it up on the pitch, no reason you wouldnt make 23's City but you're right - you dont want to live in Mori's shadow all the time!
at least at Campbelltown...'you'll never walk alone'
You must learn to walk before you can run !strikerzebra wrote:cabernet didn't know that people actually knew who I was, thnx alot I will think about Cambeltown to... you know when the trials are?anfieldboy wrote:strikerzebra, forget ABE, Campbelltown is the place to be.

Strikerzebra, firstly concentrate on being selected for the under 19s next year, then if (what ever club you choose) decide to give you a run in the U23s, then take the opportunity and show what you are capable of.
I have seen you play a few times this year and you might be shocked to hear this but I dont think you are the best U17 PLAYER GOING AROUND.
(Only my opinion).
You certainly can play, but remember there are 10 other players on the field and your not a one player team.
Did you notice how quickly we shut you down last week and restricted you only to shots outside the 18 yard box.
No time for superstar primadonna's, loose the attitude and arrogance and you will be most welcomed at our club.

I know you dont like me and thats ok. . . I never said I was the best player, also what arrogance have I shown? I believe I am a fair player, not one that plays dirty or anything.Vale wrote:You must learn to walk before you can run !strikerzebra wrote:cabernet didn't know that people actually knew who I was, thnx alot I will think about Cambeltown to... you know when the trials are?anfieldboy wrote:strikerzebra, forget ABE, Campbelltown is the place to be.

re
strikerzebra...Jordan. Recently, I've complimented you over the way you've handled yourself on this forum. However, I have to say that if you were in my squad you wouldnt be playing next week. You should be supporting your club who have been supporting you since a young age, not considering a move to Campbelltown or anyone else until at least the end of the season. I don't think you are a bad player either but certainly not 23's standard yet. And why hurry anyway? Only kids who show exceptional talent and maturity should be pushed up and you are not in that category yet ....wake up to yourself and keep your thoughts of this nature PRIVATE until the time and the place is is right....NOT ON HERE

Re: re
My club is great, I've got no problems with it except the under 19's coach, most of the club has a problem with him. Ok I willl shut my mouth from now .. guess this isn't the right place for this type of discuss.sc1 wrote: strikerzebra...Jordan. fair comments by all and yes it probably wasnt a smart idea to tell everybody your name because now the club will know what you're up to and may make life difficult
however to all other forum users, remember this is the internet and...it would be most clever (sly actually) of someone to use this as a means of sabotaging another players career, names are easily dropped but who knows who really is behind the screen...
wool over the eyes sound familiar??
