PAOK Sign Bizera

An eventful pre-season in Greek domestic football was given another injection of life on Friday, as PAOK announced the signing of 28 year-old Uruguay international and former Cagliari defender Joe Emerson Bizera Bastos.

Bizera, who played for Uruguay at the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea and has made over 20 appearances for La Celeste Olímpica was officially announced as the club’s latest signing during what has been a huge off-season recruitment drive by the Thessaloniki club.

From www.paokfc.gr: “PAOK announces the completion of the signing of Uruguyan international Joe Emerson Bizera Bastos, who signed a three-year contract with the club.”

The defender began his professional career at Uruguayan giants Club Atlético Peñarol, making over 100 appearances for the Aurinegros. He spent last season on-loan at Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv before signing a three-year deal with PAOK.

A statement from the club’s site also confirmed that Bizera had completed his first full training session with his new team-mates, ahead of the club’s Greek Super League away against OFI Crete on the 30th of August.

Greeks Finally Beat Cypriots, Georgiou Honoured
A Vladimir Ivic penalty gave Fernando Santos’ PAOK a 1-0 victory over AC Omonia in Cyprus on Thursday, with Uruguay international and former Real Madrid midfielder Pablo Garcia finally making his debut for the Greek side.

It was only a friendly match but a Greek side has finally beaten a Cypriot outfit during a pre-season that has seen the latter hold exclusive bragging rights over their Mediterranean relatives.

AEK fans will no doubt be hoping that PAOK’s victory will inspire their own team to a similar result over Omonia next Thursday, when the Athenians travel to Nicosia for the second-leg of their crucial UEFA Cup Qualifier.

Nedim Dudic’s side hold a 1-0 advantage after having stunned the Greeks at the OAKA Spiros Louis Stadium in Athens last week but the Cypriot outfit were defeated on Thursday evening by a 54th minute Vladimir Ivic (pictured) penalty.

The match, though, will be remembered as the last outing of AC Omonia legend and former AEK Lanarca player Nicolas Georgiou, who made over 200 appearances for Omonia and represented Cyprus 15 times between 1997 and 2005. Georgiou was replaced after 21 minutes by Demetris Maris.

Line-ups:

AC Omonia: Asprogenis, Ndikumana, Pletsch, Niculescu, Kaiafas, Kaseke, Kobylik, Bangura, Clayton, Georgiou (Maris 21’). Substitutes used: Cafu, Aguirre, Pavlou, Okkas, Wenzel, Tsikkos, Lagos

PAOK: Rizos, Arabatzis, Sznaucner (Darlas 65’), Marcos Antonio, Malezas, Pablo Garcia (Bakayoko 46’), Veron (46’ Georgiou), Ivic, Conceicao (Lakis 65’), Vieirinha (Konstantinidis 64’), Anastasakos (Athanasiadis 65’)

Training: Saturdays. August 23, 2008

A training programme included the current group. A very large proportion of spent in regular exercises, presingk and maintaining ball.
In training participated regularly and the last transfer of the asset group, Ourougoyanos Joe Bizera, who took part in family and doubles.

Three players of the team did not participate in training on Saturday for purely precautionary reasons. Stelios Iliadis had some discomfort in the back door through a link from participation in the last match of the national hopes, while both Ricardo Matias Veron (inconvenience dikefalo) and the Ibrahima Bakayoko (nuisance to the ankle) returned with problems from the race with Omonia in Cyprus.

But all three are expected to return from Monday to a more normal rhythm training with the rest of the team since Sunday. 24 Avg.2008 there repo.

The players of the team (except Iliadi, Pablo Garcia, Veron) passed on Saturday morning from established ergometriko control.

It is the PAOK PANTOU across the land!!

The fact that this slogan is a response to all the hearts throughout the land PAOKtsidon It is no coincidence.

It is a result of PAOKtsidikis philosophy. The idea to skeptesai and politefesai as PAOKtsis.

The PAOK outset there was a universal club. The mark-symbol soon put on the chest of athletes, in faneles, was manifest this desire to become a team that will be held around the world and particularly the thinking.

The ball would only rise and not everything. It was the reason for expressing a people, wounded, ponemenos, xerizomenos, anentachtos, anypotachtos, incompatible.

For this very quickly and in record time managed to gain fans and friends across Greece breaking once and for all the narrow borders of Thessaloniki and Macedonia. Wings of Aetou was possible, peismatodi and older to be closed to the narrow limits and only one city or one geographical area.

Very wanted and joined the largest opadiko Movement of Greece and one of the largest in Europe.

The value philosophy, and life PAOKtsidon became an attraction for many people from all regions of Greece and not just, I wanted to join afte the radical forces of the Greek Opadismou.

The fact that PAOK has one of the most''fanatics'',''taxidiarikous'',''dedicated''and large nations of Europe, I certify that PAOK become the Lao and not for the trophies , Which is not very much. This does not, is entitled price and not a censure and we know that shared equity in Elladistan.

So people of all ages, educational and social groups entachtikan and loved this group, symbols and ideals she presvefe.

For the first time in the history of the Greek football team regional Greece manage to break the walls a district or city and make Greece, European and world player now devoting opadikis and worship.

This is for several reasons we have vaguely shown in previous texts and to that end just above.

Pyrros Dimas said fan supporters of PAOK, children, young and old, came in Touba as guests were leaving and as orkismenoi supporters of PAOK. Fans of other teams coming in their cities and stadiums to view and contact with the people of PAOK, leaving the teams, followed by opadiko our movement, were PAOKtsides.

So slowly day day trip journey, the laryngi laryngi, lives his life, soul to soul, create the great people of PAOK to reach the point today to confess to the courage «Megale PAOK your strength we are thousands of fans you………. »and we are all proud to belong to this great, historic and glorious family PAOKtsidon.

Unfortunately, some of them wanting to talk and carry the heavy history as the name of PAOK and PAOKtsi not know how movement and which group of supporters belong.

I do not know what it called PAOKtsidiki philosophy.

We regret that instead of continuing the history of our people, rather than teach PAOK everywhere, instead of first and foremost concern to us is that we gigantosoume and will increase this phenomenon, to work against this, to try to mikrynoun and commit the PAOK us.

And become more specific.

It is not possible PAOKtsis to behave with arrogance and exousiastiki disposal of the strong and possible towards smaller groups, cities, and especially fans.

The PAOK and PAOKtsis has only one''enemy''the power of Athens. The parakratos. The autonomous vouleftato and underground links with the sport in Greece.

Those who live and politefontai against regional Greece. Enriching at the expense of ordinary daily viopalaiston. Where narkonoun society through the material and performances, to handle with ease in the grimy Plans prospective power and enrichment.

The groups of RECs is the «enemy». Especially not, dioikiseis and whoever supports.

The PAOKtsis can not go to regional cities of Greece and the vrizei. It makes no sense. It is outside our aim. Outside of our philosophy, which is to protect the small and weak.

The PAOKtsis must remember that represent a large group. A large Lao. A great philosophy.

We forget that PAOK is not a synoikiaki group, a neighborhood of Thessaloniki, as the roulis, the old lady and Kalamaria.

We are not followers of a gketou, a pareoulas, fearless or Egaleo.

We are supporters of PAOK.

And we are everywhere across the globe, and especially throughout Greece fans. Brothers PAOKtsides arnithikane which groups the areas they were born, simply because they won in Laos and the philosophy of PAOK.

We can not go example Iraklion and vrizoume Crete. Why have tens of hundreds of Cretans PAOKtsides. We are a group of neighborhood or city, we PAOK. In other words, belong everywhere across the land.

Documents in PAOKtsidiko forum on 03 August 2008, «The PAOK is a great !!!!!!!! You will shorten you with your vlakodeis antipaoktsidikes attitudes.
It belongs to everybody. Maailmas !!!!!!!!!!!!
Since Salonikioti until Peiraioti. From the Athenian by Cretan and the European until Asiati and not symmazefetai.

Whoever believes in the power and PAOK, who feel the PAOK and philosophy, can not and does not have a historical right to imprison within the narrow confines of Thessaloniki alone.
What is the PAOK find no synoikiako union? None omadoula neighbourhood?

What is Apollo and Hercules, is roulis; the Akratitos and Aigaleo sity, who do not know them and have no supporters outside and beyond their neighbourhood.

None Stupid city and region of Greece can not and should not be vrizei the PAOKtsis beyond Athens and was not as a city, but as government policy and attitudes athinokentrikou state.

Brothers PAOKtsides have around the world !!!!!
And I ask, have the right to place their vrizoume born and grow up, live and breathe?

I am here in Crete with claws and teeth hold 1 The PAOKtsakia the philosophy of PAOK. Upon come and vrisete Crete, which is their homeland, what would they say?

That they are Salonikioi and hate the place were born? Change group because you do not want companionship and to the family of PAOK ......
<!--[ if! supportLineBreakNewLine] ->
<!--[ endif] ->

Re just put your mind to the greatness of PAOK. To mouskepsei and produce PAOKtsidiki philosophy. Work and a time for the fundamental interest of PAOK.

Thus, to be vrizoume separate homelands of our brothers PAOKtsidon, do the PAOK our small .. The PAOK is a great and universal if you have not yet understood.

It is more than homes and borders. ....

I am not interested in the telis, aroulis and I do not know and what…

With concern and care Crete because I Kritikos PAOKtsis.
And me the PAOK who taught large PAOKtsides is not the PAOK of your neighborhood, but the whole world PAOK ............ ».
