ARBEFC Vs Burundi FC
Reserves: RBE 2 Burundi 3
First Team: RBE 1 Burundi 2
Very disaponting results for the eagles, at the same time very disapointing ref as the second goal was out clearly and the whole rbe defence and keeper just stopped as they thought it was a goal kick as it cleary was and the burundi player played on and scored with no keeper there. Burundi FC are a shameful club and a bunch of cheats, their keeper at one stage behind play took the net off the hooks on the post to waste time. absolutely disgusting team even calling our players dirty wogs and spiting at one of our players. the leauge should really investigate into them as they have had numerous reports against them. one of the Burundi players also punched our player in the head and the ref saw it and did nothing. Both Burundi A's and B's all game were hitting players behind play and getting away with it. and to end it all when the burundi players drove off in their cars they were yelling dirty wog C#*ts. All in all well done Burundi brought shame to your country...

Terrible results on our part, but what was worse was the actions of Burundi. Not sure how many players had to be kicked behind play with the referee seeing it before anything actually happened. Their keeper ran with the ball in his hands outside of the box and was not sent off. The ref in the b's was a disgrace.

Yes they are. The flag on their kit is the flag of that country. For the uneducated, Burundi is a country next to Rwanda in Africa that has had it's problems too.
Like Simba of Congo and Adelaide Tigers they have some skillful players (individually skillful) and are quick as hell but lack discipline and knowledge of teamwork and tactics. With Burundi and Simba it doesn't help that the coaches really have no idea. I've said it before, but if some of these players were put into other teams where they had to assimilate or intergrate and coaches who could instill some idea of tactics etc. into their play they could be really good players.

Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
I don't know about calling wogs or that because I never noticed in the game I saw them play against Vipers but I don't condone that from anyone. I agree some of the tackles aren't good (some of the Simba ones I saw against Black Eagles were terrible, but their opposition gave as good as they got), as is the case with Simba. Again this comes down to education and discipline. Many of these players have never played in a proper competition before and only know about kicking a homemade ball on dusty wartorn streets. It also explains the odd dodgy offside call because they get people to do it who have no concept of ot. This is why I would like to see them intergrate into existing teams and get some proper football education, not just ball skills and tactics, but what tackles are acceptable and what aren't (ie. two footed lunges).Giovinco_The_Great wrote:Bodo i totally agree with you!!! Sorry, I read the question on face value. I think they play at Angle Park but I guess you've found it. Did it annoy you having to click on every single division before finding it. That pisses me off.BADA BING wrote:Juventino wrote:I'm guessing Burundi.no cabernet they are from Burundi are they, i thought they where from Mars,

Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
I'm not suggesting you made things up, and I know some people do like to throw the "racist" card about when it's got nothing to do with race. Seen it first hand at work. I don't have sympathy for them from that point of view. Many of them have been offered a new life and they should appreciate it. Getting them to assimilate rather than stay in their little communities would be a good start.Giovinco_The_Great wrote:Bodo I wouldnt make things up, they seriously said things like that and lets move along form whatever you saw and lok at last nights game which i saw and heard myself that they were calling us wogs this wogs that but if you say anything racial agasint them they cry for help? im sorry bodo but i hvae no sympahty for them i dont care about education and all that bottom line is we were there for a serious game of soccer and they tured into a circus!!! i do agree tho maybe they should go into other exsiting clubs to learn better soccer skills and how to play correctly and they would be alot better players with that mighty pace they have no one will catch them...!!!

All in all they were sneaky bastards. Knew exactly what they were doing when it came to cheating.

Red Blue, when do you guys play Salisbury Villa to catch-up for last weekend?
That should be an interesting game.

Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
not condoning Burundi, but I was thrown to the ground behind play by RB Eagles so remember what goes around comes around(karma),look forward to rematch. As for Burundi home ground we had to remove syringes before game just not acceptable,I know this is out of Burundis hands but the visiting team should not have to inspect the ground.
MESS WITH THE BEST DIE LIKE THE REST
Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
Burundi were fine when OISC played them from what I recall. The Bs ref had an easy game (Burundi lost 3-0!) and the As ref (apart from calling all the offsides himself) didn't have to do much either (0-1 win for the Eagles). One of their players slid in on our keeper for a 50/50 and collected him by accident and was so apologetic he looked like he was going to cry. They can't have changed that much in 8 weeks?
Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
Well they must have because last night they were kicking players off the ball, booting the ball away a good two or three seconds after the referee blew his whistle (every time), were wasting time but untieing the net (or something like that, I personally didn't see the incident) and faking injury to waste time. Happened for 180 minutes.

Seriously annoying, i know others have suggested it on here before but surely the amateur league needs to improve their websiteBodø Glimt wrote:Sorry, I read the question on face value. Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
You're right about the visiting team but wrong about the rest. The home team should ensure that the field of play is fit for purspose and even if it doesn't, the Referee is supposed to inspect the field as part of his/her pre-match to ensure it is.Lucky4some wrote:...As for Burundi home ground we had to remove syringes before game just not acceptable,I know this is out of Burundis hands but the visiting team should not have to inspect the ground.
Regarding the syringes, this has been discussed at length elsewhere in this forum and I have no idea whether it is true or not but I found none when I did a game there, and I also had no problems with the home team's conduct but maybe becuase it was me...

Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
Burrundi seem like a good bunch of blokes, and I am suprised at all these statements about them. In regards to the syringes, I can confirm that they have been found on there ground. Suggest having a look near the dug outs, for the teams, near the shed, where the Syringe disposal unit is. Had some photo's of syringes we found, but I have misplaced them, but they where definately there and around the dugout. Don't know how much this is Burrundi's fault though, more the addicts, that they have no control over. I just say to visiting teams, be warey of there ground, for the safety of their teams and players.Rob Lozza wrote:You're right about the visiting team but wrong about the rest. I'm not working on this day. What times are kickoff? Are the reserves playing too?Giovinco_The_Great wrote:Adelaide Red Blue Eagles Fc Vs Salisbury Villa Catch up game has been confirmed, 27th August at Villa's ground
Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
Reserves already played, it was a draw. Only the a's game that day was cancelled. Not sure of kick off time.
Re: Red Blue vs Burrundi Catch Up Game
The irony of all of this is that where I grew up a wog was not an italian but an african or west indian.
