i think the league should just be scrapped. this would also take out some of the dropping 17s players back to 16s to make sure the team won.... which i witnessed first hand at the 16s modbury vs para hills game.
A few FACTS black and white.
NO u17s played in the first match against Para Hills!
No one is IRONICALLY still injured from the first match played against Modbury.
Yes it is within the rules to play eligable players as long as they are the correct age.
Modbury u16s have only played TWO u17s all year for one game each due to injury.
Para hills played TWO quality u17s (DK and JR) and it had nothing to do with injurys.
The Para Hills u16s won on the day only because of these quality players and everyone who was there on the day knows that they are the only reason you did so and that includes the 2-3 sets of PARA HILLS parents who i talked to after the match.
How ironic that the u17s were knocked out of the cup on the weekend, maybe if you had more FAITH in your own players the u17s might have been fit for there own game.
Good luck for the rest of the season,no pressure now!!!
A few U16 facts, gowans49
Para Hills have only used U17 players once all season and that was in the Modbury game, due to injuries.
Para and Modbury were both in the same side of the JPL Cup draw.
Modbury were knocked out by Comets in the first round, but a month later you picked up one of Comets best players, so all was not lost.
Para Hills beat Comets in the next round, without our goalkeeper playing (a field player had to stand in) and one sub on the bench.
2 rounds later Para Hills are now in the Final of the Cup, without using any U15 or U17 players.
Cheers, we will see you at Hindmarsh Stadium.[/quote]
All facts above are true and i hope you win at Hindmarsh you deserve to be in the cup final!
Do you honestly believe you would have won the game with out the two 17s!
We will be pushing you all the way,we will not give up until it is impossible to catch you!
If you do the double your boys can be proud and i will be the first to say well done.
As for Black and White I hope you find out that you are the most unrespected person at Para Hills by your own club/fellow coachs and players.
