I initially posted it as a possible game to go to because I live near Plympton, but after hearing it was moved ended up going to San Marco as I had never seen either of those sides play before.

Great game again by our boys! Showed that we're still well in the fight for survival.
We were unlucky today and probably should have won the game. Plenty of chances, a few crossbars, but sometimes its just not going for you.

you and your club are a joke east boy, I was behind the goal listening to your coach threatening to kill the ref!
the tactics you had were a disgrace too, I feel sorry for ingle farm, they battered you on the pitch in the 1st half
and were unlucky not to be 3 up before the restart, pure dirt was your only response.
Well done though to your sweeper who played approx 80 minutes with a leg injury and never looked threatened, although I think the shouting
towards the ingle farm coach
at the end of the game was a bit out of order even if he was happy with the result.

I hope your club gets a ban for this and that :clown: of a coach gets a life ban, I watched the game last year against elizabeth downs
and he was the same then, I'm assuming it was the same bloke judging by the language coming out of his mouth towards the ref.

Gee pal, have a go why dont ya! Why the fark am i a joke?? Do i know you?? Do you actually know the reason behind the spray to the ref? Obviously not, so i'll tell you. Our player gets chopped down, gets the free, the ref is then too busy worrying about something else going on rather than calling on our trainer so he can get treatment! Thats crap! Refs are their to protect players FFS!! This didn't only happen once in the game either. It happened to both teams a few times. He was too bloody busy telling players to pull their socks up all game rather than actually ref the bloody game!

Why did we resort to dirt?!?! I thought we actually played quite well today and although we didn't carve out too many opportunities its what the rest of our season is going to be about. Battling for any points we can get. Great effort by all the lads today. We will take points off any team in the league if we continue to play like that for the remainder of the year. Farm did actually have plenty of chances go get the goal and for once we did get a little lucky with a few bounces etc.

A's) 3-1
B's) 4-2
I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

Solid performance today. Wanted to prove a point
against the team that toppled Inter. Couldve been
3 or 4 nil if not for the crossbar and some wayward shooting.
Boys are looking forward to Inter next week.

After watching today's match I can not wait to see Easties relegated to division two where they belong - what, should only be a couple of weeks until it is officially confirmed now? That team is an absolute pack of thugs who showed absolutely no interest in playing football today. Thing is their supporters and even worse their coach encouraged this disgusting approach to the game, with people like East Boy having the nerve to come on here and congratulate his team for kicking the crap out of Farm all day. Eastie's coach was a disgrace as well - the ref was woeful for both sides, but there is a line and that guy well and truly crossed it. It seemed fine for his players to tackle over the ball all day and wildly swing elbows as they went up for every header, but his player gets one late tackle and he wants to murder the ref. They say teams are a reflection of their coach and this is certainly true of Easties, both are an insult to the game we all love. As for the game itself Farm hit the woodwork three times, had two perfectly good goals disallowed and battered the hapless Easties all day. Funniest thing was Easties celebrating like they had won the league at full time - haha they scraped a draw, and are by far the dirtiest and worst team in the entire league and are sitting last for a reason. Enjoy life in division two next season, although even that league will probably be far beyond your playing abilities and levels of discipline also!

Why do people always say "if not for the crossbar or upright."
If it wasn't for them the shot would have just gone out for a goalkick !
It's like saying.."if it wasn't for their goalkeeper we would have won."
I thought it was the goalkeepers purpose to stop the other team scoring !

Bodø Glimt wrote:A's: San Marco 2 Munno Para 0
B's: San Marco 5 Munno Para 0

I'll write reports after I've eaten.
As a rule I don't like criticising referees but the B's referee today had a shocker. Not sure if he belongs to the San Marco club as he was in a full referees kit. With the score at 0-0 Munno Para had a player fouled in the box and whilst both benches acknowledged it was a dead set penalty (and it certainly looked like one from where I was) the referee adjudged him to have dived and booked the player. Some words were exchanged and two more Para players were booked, including one who had already been shown a yellow card and he was given his marching order. Some moments later another incident in the other penalty box resulted in a penalty being awarded to San Marco which again from where I was standing looked like a penalty. San Marco took the lead from the resulting spot kick and within sixty seconds of the restart it was 2-0 with a well taken goal. I thought that Para might have fallen apart after the that but it wasn't until a few minutes before half time that San Marco added a third. Munno Para took the game to San Marco in the second half and with the number of men they had free you'd have thought it was San Marco down to ten men. Despite this San Marco somehow managed to score another two in the second half to claima 5-0 route, but Munno Para could justifiably felt hard done by.

The A's was in comparison a quiet affair, but still an entertaining game. Half time at 0-0, Munno Para was forced to change keepers after a collision with an opposition player. I didn't see how the contact was made but he did look a little dazed and was subsituted on the spot. I think he was taken away after that (probably to be checked up) and hope that he is alright. By the looks of it Munno Para didn't have a replacement keeper ready on the bench and an outfield player got kitted up for the role. He did quite well, but it was San Marco scored two second half goals to win the match.
Did the heart and soul of San Marco, Mark Piteo come on and lift the team!

This happened today in the Inter vs Vista game today. Seemed like the ref had some sort of ego that he had to pay more attention to for asserting his "power" over people on the sideline and linesman rather than worry about the player down in a heap on the ground to get a trainer on. Not good to see really...

agree that the PHE v IF ref was a bit too self involved
glaring mistake not to allow IF to take a free kick quickly late in the first half
the IF player had been put clean through
ref pulled it back to talk to the offending phe player , didn't even book him
ridiculous punishment of the non offending team just to allow the ref to take centre stage

stayed out of earshot of the phe coach / sideline group , their language is a bit over the top to say the least and i had my young son with me.

PHE slugged it out in a game very reminiscent of IF v PHW a few weeks ago
one way traffic for farm but if you dont score .....
totally dominated 2 games but only walked away with 1 point from 6 - title chances gone?

IF needed extra time to get past a defensive fulham in the cup too
it seems that when a team goes out to shut up shop and hit on the break , the farm find it hard to break them down

Bodo and the Bucket on the incident in the B’s I was actually playing but at the time but I was blinded by the tackle and yes I will say a couple of our own players thought it was a penalty, however the way the player who got sent off reacted was an absolute disgrace, you cant call a referee a FUC**EN CHEATING C&NT and not expect to get sent off, I have been playing football for a long time and trust me I haven’t seen to many away team’s receive penalties in the B’s. BTW I hope your B team takes out the title, the deserve it.
In regards to the offside in the A’s I spoke to our linesman after the game and he said it was offside, not sure what you were watching but his flag went up as soon as the cross went in, he did mention that by the time the player headed the ball in our sweeper had dropped back in line with you attacker, anyway I can only give my side of the story from what he has told me, The Bucket how is your goalkeeper from the A’s anyway?

I have no issues with the red card. I don't condone that sort of behaviour from anyone and I have to give credit to the Para coach who did his best trying to keep his players and bench quiet. As for the penalty... your own bench even said they thought it was one. There were a lot of refereeing inconsistanties in that game. I can't comment on the disallowed goal because I wasn't in line with it.

I dont think we were "a pack of thugs" yesterday. I would love to hear from any of the players from the farm who played yesterday. I think your being very very one eyed Agger. I know eggers copped one in the nose, but that was in a fair challenge. No one else got injured from the farm..... Why does everyone keep saying we are an insult and a shame to our game? Do you play netball or something. We got stuck in yesterday and grinded out a hard fought draw. Any points for us are fantastic at the moment. Farm was one game i had down for a loss, so in my opinion it was like a win. Its blokes like you saying enjoy div2 and i cant wait to see them get relegated, that just adds fuel to our passion to stay in div 1. Enjoy not winning the championship you mug!

I think the ref, who I will not mention else this tread will be deleted, was pathetic for the East v Farm game. Every time we have that moron, the game goes pear shaped because he continuously does not take control of the game and lets shocking tackles go unpunished. He is quick to book a player for saying boo to him but a bad tackle and he is too chicken to send him off. He was clearly the reason for the Easties coach outburst, not that I condone his behaviour towards the ref and he clearly deserved to be sent off the bench for it, but the East were on the back foot and the ref would not let there injured player back on the park, of course the coach is going to let him know about it. He just didn't need to add the extra f words in between his sentences.

As for the game, it was not the East played well or even tried to play at all but that the Farm simply missed there chances. The Farm dominated the whole game, two disallowed goals, three posts and many, many other chances, the East were on the back foot all day, could not string three passes together and resorted to bad tackles to slow the game down. What the Sweeper said at the end of the game was a total disgrace and an embarrassment to the PH East members, players and supporters. D@%k heads like that are not needed at any club.

Well done to the East for getting a point, if that is what you set out too do, but I would have thought you really needed the three. It will be a shame to see the East go down as we have had many great games against them over the years but after that display yesterday, I am not sure if you deserve to play Sun Div 1 next year.

Knights on top in the first half but couldn't capitalize.
Grove seemed to dominate the second half.

Reserves
Southern Knights ( 2 ) Grove ( 6 ) I think !

Shocking game to lose, felt we were on top for the first half and last 15 of the second, referee had a good game, but missed a clear penalty - the Grove Player lost sight of the ball, hit his hand and then he grabbed our striker and pulled him down with about 10 to go! Also missed from 2 yards out with about 5 to play.

I wasn't at the first game and was told we were lucky to get the win, so looks like things evened out

It will be a shame to see the East go down as we have had many great games against them over the years but after that display yesterday, I am not sure if you deserve to play Sun Div 1 next year.
I agree with some of your comments SNS. The ref, (the downs favourite), was again terrible. He missed everything he shouldn't have yesterday. A goal, probably a send off the list could go on and on. It kind of played into our hands in the end.
We didn't really play too well no, but i don't think we are ever going to play pretty football for the rest of the season. As i have said in previous posts, we want to get points no matter how ugly it may be. Sure we would have loved the 3 points yesterday, but i think we were lucky to get the one in the end. God knows how many posts, cross bars, ripper saves, missed open goals you guys had. It was just never going to go in unless you walked it in.
Our sweeper just got caught up in the feeling of the game and the local derby. Your blokes gave us plenty when u beat us in the first game and i think he was just reacting to what still sticks in his mind.
Why do you not think we deserve to play in div1 next year SNS? Why does anyone deserve it more than us? Your players dished it out just as good during the game. Especially your right winger.
It was a good hard game i thought. Some of our guys were tiring near the end and were late only due to fatigue more than anything i thought. You guys pride yourself on being very fit, so it was bloody hard to run out the game against you.

A -1- 1

have to agree :D , watch all three games and was a very entertaining day, all games played in a well hard fought spirit, good to see the florina lads all in the club for a few hours drinking afterwards (as usual  )

I just thought you guys were not interested in putting it too the Farm and were happy to slow the game right down and play for a draw from the kick off. I thought most of your players had the attitude that you cannot win and concedes to playing that way. The antics of some of your other players was to just kick the player they marked instead of trying to actually play football. Too me if you go out with that frame of mind you do not deserve to play Div 1.

East Boy you were one of a few who put in 100%. Ricky and you had a great tussle in the middle of the park, to me you were one of the East better players.
