Most over-rated and under-rated players

Who do you think is the most over-rated player currently, and most under-rated?

I'd say the most over-rated is Rooney..and that's not because I hate Man Utd, I just honestly think he's nothin special.
Most under-rated for me is Crouch or Benayoun.

As you can see I'm sticking to the EPL because I'm most familiar with it..
What do you all think?

overrated i'd say Adebayor, underrated i'd agree that Crouch and Benayoun are underrated but i'd also have to say Pirlo and not because there's any debate that he's a good player but I think Kaka takes a lot of the limelight away from him.

Gilardino I think is underrated cause he was crap for Milan. People forget though how good he was at Parma.

Rolando Bianchi is on the way to being overrated. I think he is good, but so far he is living off his one super year at Reggina and isn't worth the money that he will cost.

Marek Hamsik is underrated, simply cause if he was playing EPL, he'd be up there with the world's best.

Yeah I have to agree with that, his name just didn't come to mind before.
I see Crouch as under-rated because he has so many good qualities for a striker, yet got hardly any playing time for Liverpool last season.
To me, Crouch's first touch is absolutely fantastic. He has the ability to pull off some great long range shots, is clinical in front of goals, good in the air (good, not great), he has the ability to pull off some killer through balls and can read the game well.
The only thing he really lacks as a striker is pace..

Yeah true, I reckon he does need to take the paycut and move back home. Genoa or Torino are the two that are chasing Bianchi at the moment. It'll be harder for Bianchi to start this season at Man City now he'll have to compete with Jo, Benjani, Caicedo & Bojinov for a place in the starting xi. If he comes back home to play for Genoa or Torino it'll be better for him to rebuild, start banging balls into goals and find his form.
