Congratulations to the Southern Knights ressies. I have no idea how they have come this far in the cup. They would have to be one of the worst reserve teams our ressies have played. No offence to the knights team and as i said congratulations but i dont quite understand :?

Oh. Initially I had planned to go to Bosa v Florina and figured out I could fit your game as well if it didn't go to extra time, so I left after the regulation ninety minutes. Of what I did see, the first half was pretty even, but Fc Adelaide were the better team in the second half.

Had to giggle when the guy who had slapped a player in the face earlier was given a free kick some minutes later after having his shirt pulled and then made a song and dance about a yellow card. Yes, it was a foul, and you got your freekick... but whinge about a card... just be grateful you were still on the park!

Knights keeper pilled of a couple of good saves.

Bosa 3 Salisbury Florina 5

This was an entertaining game. Bosa were 2-0 up going into first half stoppage time before copping a goal at the death. Seconds earlier an altercation between two players (they were both at it) resulted in the keeper getting involved and as the referee didn't see the original incident he was the one that got booked. The discussion with the person next to me was he was going to self destruct but he then decided to take himself off. Possibly a blessing in disguise.

Florina were the better side in the second half and made it 2-4 before Bosa pulled one back at the death to make the final few minutes interesting. Florina's third goal was a brilliant one but the fifth one was even better. Almost the last kick of the match.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

How do you know this? And how can a team get away with that?

Another thing I liked about the third one was the original run leading up to it the player with the ball did well going forward but had no support and about four defended in front of him but managed to hold on to long enough before laying it off to someone else.

Then when the shot eventually came have to credit the referee for seeing it hit the stansion (?) and coming back out.

Nope. But you can't blame me for being sceptical. Given that before the game the ref recognised one of your ring-in's, asked for his card and you couldn't produce it.

Wanderers are still in the reserves cup. That's what I was referring to.

thanks right winger. took us 40 mins though, and Bosa could of easily been 4-0 up.
looked like we weren't interested then pegged one back in injury time of 1st half.
2nd half the guys come to play and goals came as Bosa lost it's steam.

Downs reserves have just beat Munno Para 4 -1. A great effort by the lads considering most of them were at the Downs show last night with Steedy actually doing his back on friday, in the show saturday and getting home at 6am and playing for the ressies sunday. Had to get armour guard in sunday so we could shovel the money into the truck Well done to everybody..
There is no I in team, but there is a u in suck...

lol, that was me, but in context, he slapped me first, also I was annoyed that I had finally got away from the guy and then the referee blew the freekick, either play advantage or stop the play and book the player

All in all, I thought the referee was excellent - for the record he saw both "slaps" - technically 2 send offs but he thought it was amusing.

For the record I think the player in question was Lyndon - yes he is very much a First Team player - he signed after the First Team were out of the cup and is therefore eligible.

I felt we were lucky but thought hard - FC Adelaide were the better team and as Bodo said our keeper had some good saves

FC Adelaide were also very gratious in defeat so bit suprised by earlier comments

The slapping was amusing. I know both of you were at it. I had to giggle because someone from your crowd yelled out something along the lines of "wait to he gets his handbag out".

Saw a slighty more biffier one at Bosa afterwards and one today at West Beach. Today the referee showed a red card to one and a yellow to the other when he probably should have given both red.
