Postponing
If teams postpone games should they automatically lose the home game and have to play it away?
beacause we play a team twice at home cos of a postponement

Re: Postponing
Once again, thank god school holidays are nearly over.
If your club has agreed to the postponement, what is the problem??

Re: Postponing
At junior level it's up to the people negotiating (of course the team that's not postponing has an advantage in the negotiations:-)susc9 wrote:If teams postpone games should they automatically lose the home game and have to play it away?

Re: Postponing
the thing i h8 about postponements is that the team that postpones could infact be organising for players from higher age groups eligable to play for them to play both games, for their original team and the team that needs them

Re: Postponing
Sadly I think that this is correct....we are playing a game that has been changed very probably for that reason....in saying that, our team had to change the game time of a match recently as due to a high number of injuries we could not field a full team....the difference though is our time change allowed younger players the opportunity to play up for a game (they did themselves proud and loved the opportunity) however it is not a week in week out situation...

yes!
Every little helps a mickle.

I dont think the home team should lose advantage of the home game if they chose to postpone as they are the home team and have the right to chose when to play

Re: Postponing
If they've set a time and a place they are oblidged to play at that time and date... unless the postponement is due to weather or unsuitable pitch.lets_talk_soccer wrote:I dont think the home team should lose advantage of the home game if they chose to postpone as they are the home team and have the right to chose when to play![]()
