i kno hes not a natural left back i kno, but ive seen him play there about 3-5 times last season, you'd swear hes a natural there tho.

Give anyone an unlimited budget and see how they go. Wenger has had a squad that went through undefeated in the EPL - a huge feat - but still couldn't do much in the CL.
