So what if they do, it is a fantastic experience for the boys to play against other clubs from around the world.

Sound a bit jealous to me :P

Had a look through the Duna Tv website (a Hungarian channel I get off the satellite) to see if they had anything on this. Unfrotunately no, but win, draw or lose this would be a fantastic experience for those that got to go. Good luck !

Good luck to all involved, first and foremost travel is a great teacher for young people, the football experience will be invaluable regardless of the results. Well done to the club for making this opportunity a reality for the team.

players at the club and some select others born 1991 1992 are also travelling to Italy in december for I think 5 week tour led by Pellegrini. I had a look at the itinerary and they are playing 6 games v fiorentina mantova chievo youth teams . still looking for a couple of talented strikers i heard as they have plenty of defenders 2 goakeepers and numerous tourists.

Good luck to them. 2 of my mates are in the squad, David Varricchio & Alex Rizzo, they are both good. Also Good Luck To Alex Rizzo who will be trying out for Fiorentina in Italy, later this year, great achievement.

The result above was just a trial game before the tournament started, which starts on the 20th July.

Just found out that ABE played another trial game prior to the tournament starting and they won 4-1 against a side called Kaposvolgye Vallalkozok SC. (I hope I spelled that correctly)

just reminds me.

I went to para hills a month or so ago to watch our u16 play parahills. we lost 1-0. nothing wrong with that.

but as i was walking out into the carpark the under 16 coach of para hills and some fat feral lady who i think was the team manager, wearing one of those target tracksuit. yes guys u know the tracksuit the one with the white and 3 shades of blue parachute material, stopped me to ask a question.

is this the team goin hungry??

i said Yes

response, why they goin hungary they " crap, garbage, wasting their time etc etc."

because they want to and it would be a good experience. i never went anywhere when i was 16.

I said whats your problem?

they get thrashed over there came the reply again.

i though i leave it alone as i couldnt understand all the agro.

i got in my car they got in their bus and away we went.

From your description that wasnt the Para Hills U16 team manager, and I know that both of the coaches think that Blue Eagles are a quality side. Congratulations to the Blue Eagles boys for doing so well in the tournament. Time will tell if any of the boys were spotted by European scouts.

It would be great for one of the lads to come on here and describe the whole event.

Well done to the boys who participated and congratulations to the Club for making/allowing it to happen.

Yes, I'd like to hear what it was like for someone who was lucky enough to participate.
