The website has a great review.
No whinging at all, youre right.
But you and others ARE whinging and complaing.
How many exactly is "endless two-footed tackles"?
76,000 or do you literrally mean infinty?
I didnt see one.
Maybe your feet were too dazzlingly quick as you
beat player after player after player and i missed them
Maybe if you werent so good, so Maradonaesque i mightve
caught a glimpse of some of these tackles.
Just kidding mate, i didnt even notice you really.
P.S "Can't kick, can't dive"

Your website's match report on the match at Fulham lists the final score as ISC Raptors 0 Elizabeth Grove 1 (who?) and doesn't understand the concept of listing the home side firstMegaBonus wrote:youre a knob!!!!
you still dont get it. i dont think anyone has complained about the game being 'hard'. the issue is the 'behind the play' incidents and the intentional 2 footed tackles desinged to injure. people have to go to work and have families to support. you cant if youre home recovering from major injuries.
ive posted the official match report from the club website - theres no whinging nor any complaints, so get over it!!!!!!!
Re: Results Sunday 13/7/08
Been meaning to mention this... fantastic sportsmanship by Vista player when Knights linesman got pinged by idiot ref for briefly answering his mobile. The Ref awarded a free kick on the edge of the Knights area but Vista player quite rightly played it back to the keeper... well done mate.... and your too good a team to be struggling. Don't feel bad about losing to the Knights we played some good stuff. This year we started well but very inconsistant... due to player availability. For example played Salisbury off the park in the first game but ended up losing 3-1 due to quality breaks from Salisbury. Second game totally dropped our bundle and that has triggered a wake up. As Salisbury get most of their goals from breaks... play it smarter and they are beatable.... Pumas obviously found a way. Beating Pumas is easy if you can stop Jack. Mosts game though are influenced by the Ref's... if they let the overly agressive players get away with it then that changes the game.... one week soccer wins the next week soccer loses.

All the Blue Eagles forumites have been pretty quiet this week!!
Wonder why that is?
Does it have anything to do with the 8-4 loss?
Not much has been mentioned about the dirtiest tackle i've seen in a while, thats if you can call it a tackle, #2 the hard man turned into the soft man, making that disgraceful challenge and then going off hurt

First of all, I am the only Blue Eagle forumite on here and yes, I have been quiet this week - our loss was terrible! And I usually don't comment that much or talk us up anyway! Funny thing is we had 5 clear chances in the second half, and could have possibly drawn level - but I am sure it is also due to MP taking the foot off the pedal. The player you speak off had already done his hamstring before the challenge, and was coming off at half time regardless. The Russian Submarine wrote:All the Blue Eagles forumites have been pretty quiet this week!!

A person from Munno Paro complaining about dirty tackles?!?! you have to be joking, easily the dirtiest club in the amatuer league with some of the dirtiest players I have come across... teams like yours are the reason why the amatuer league has a bad name, these blokes will hack you down and try to punch you behind play but will then come on here and whinge about one dirty tackle, I'm sure your guys put into a lot more and dirter tackles than that every week. STFU.The Russian Submarine wrote:All the Blue Eagles forumites have been pretty quiet this week!!

Probably the boldest comment I have read on here for a while! Munno Para are not a dirty team at all, maybe hard at the ball but thats about it! I have never seen one of our players do anything behind play except retaliate to others!easily the dirtiest club in the amatuer league
The tackle I speak of was not so much a tackle it was more of a full on shirt front you see in the NRL! Dirty!
And dont get me started about all the subs, coaches and supporters from your side that ran on to the pitch s! Its 11 v 11 out there!!!

Yes you had 5 clear chances in the second half, but did you score them? We had about 10 clear chances we missed through the game but im not coming on here saying the score could have been 18-9! It was 8-4 so be it. Great result for the lads! Just hope we can continue that form the whole way through the season!Aldo Serena

To say you have never seen any player do anything behind play (only retaliate) is absolute bullshit cos I have seen it with my own two eyes, hitting players behind play to try and get them to retaliate so they get sent off and the like... and on more than one occasion... all class there!

Re: Results Sunday 13/7/08
I've always revered Blue Eagles as quite clean and fair, know from experience. There are a lot more teams out there who are far dirtier, in a dirtiness comparison. Plus, is a team who plays more physical than your own a dirty team; or is your team just soft? Any team hoping to play in the first division in the future should reconsider how they view this topic, because it's a lot tougher and more physical (what some would call dirty) than division 2, 3 and onwards. I say step up or step off, and fall back to division 5 if you can't hack it...
Re: Results Sunday 13/7/08
LEGWEAK 10, I don't know if you read my post, but you responded to it... in that post you responded to, I said I have seen Munno Paro play like that more than once... so you asked me if I have seen them play, I guess I answered that question before you asked it. Also Plympton are actually one of the better teams to play against, an example of hard but fair.
Klinsmen, I have nothing to do with the blue eagles, nor did I even say that your players did anything to them on the weekend just passed, I wasn't there so can't comment on the incident. What I am laughing at (and what your mate The Russian Submarine be embarassed about) is that you guys can dish it out, but then whinge when you cop ONE bad tackle, I have seen a couple of times when one of your players has hit someone behind play, and not only that but when the ref turns around you try to suck them into retaliating, SO not only do you hit people when they are not looking, you try to get them sent off when they retaliate... thats just dirty play IMO, but to make it embarassing, you whinge about ONE tackle. Hilarious. I think you guys need to harden the fuck up and you can start by stop taking cheap shots behind play.

Re: Results Sunday 13/7/08
No one is discounting the hardness on the ball in Div 1, I think if you've read through the majority of these posts it comes down to the behind the ball incidents that are occurring. Over the weekend I was witness to 3 off the ball elbows to the head of a player and 1 punch to a players ribs in front of the referee all going without caution. Back when I was playing, I would always attack the ball as hard as I could but fairly. Old theory, if you go in hard you won't get hurt. I would never resort to hitting or kicking someone behind play. Certain teams deliberately resort to these types of actions to try put their more fancied opponent off of their game. This is what i call DIRTY, in terms of being hard at the ball I'm all for it provided there's no studs up tackles to a players knee or ankle.Klinsmann wrote:I've always revered Blue Eagles as quite clean and fair, know from experience. Played Plympton many, many times - always hard but fair - it pains me to say it but in that respect they are similar to TTG and Gawler (before they went to Federation) haven't played Muno Parra in years so can't comment

I have seen many games in all three leagues both this year and last year and as far as i remember the munno para team are not dirty they are hard at the ball I have never heard or spoken to anyone who has labelled Munno Para as a dirty team Until Now Perhaps it is just the fact you are all bitter and twisted because you were outplayed on sunday From what i saw of the incident it was two terrible challenges in a row which resulted in a free kick to both teams the second of which sparked the MSSC Blue Eagles Bench to enter the field of play and cause more problems than there already were IMO the first challenge that was awarded to MSSC was a joke and unfortunately the ref got the decision wrong However what concerned me the most was the attitude of the MSSC supporters who decided to et involved when the challenge (just as bad as the first) was awarded in the complete opposite directionLFTWNG11 wrote:LEGWEAK 10, I don't know if you read my post, but you responded to it... in that post you responded to, I said I have seen Munno Paro play like that more than once... so you asked me if I have seen them play, I guess I answered that question before you asked it. Re: Results Sunday 13/7/08
right, im having my 2 pence worth! having played for para for 5 years i can say that during my time there no games were called off due to violence and we receive very few red cards in that time. that being said there may have been an incident or two during that time but im sure that all clubs have been involved in some sort of 'niggle'. to deny that at all is just stupid. why playing against a side last yr i was kicked by a 'mug' forward who i was giving a absolute bath. did he get sent off? no. did i smack him one? no. did i want to? hell yes. you better believe i let him know who won after the final whistle as he refused to shake my hand. leftie are you talking about a payhnem incident a couple of years ago?

As for Munno Para - I'd be more worried about the spectators than the guys on the field. The players do play hard but the clowns on the side lines get too pissed & get carried away with it IMO.
