My response wasn't to take sides in this debate or to support anyones opinion.
I just believe strongly in tolerance which is a two sided affair.
People start pointing fingers without checking for dirt under their own fingernails.
[quote="The Roo"]Yeah cause you heard it didnt you? Peasant.....
Anyone can accuse anyone of anything.. But thats got no credibility at all...
I, you imbecile, have heard it out of your own mouth... So its best that you be quiet..
The fact is everyone want to bring the best down with anything they can.. Because you cant beat us on the field, you're resorting to low, but familiar, cop outs for your clubs own impotency...
Worry about your rapidly declining season rather than ours.. It might not have been all over had you done this earlier..
here we go again, do you ever stop bitching or what? you must not have a very good memory either cause you always go on about beating us with ten men when we smashed you when we won 3-1 when we had ten men until your player started shit and got the game called off! and where were you then big boy? no where! big mouth little heart thats all i can say about you!
How did you win the game when it didnt finish? They should do an IQ check before accepting people on this forum..
You just proved my point in this whole arguement... There was one Wanderers player onto all of yours and your supporters.. I dont play the game to fight.. You and your club obvioulsy do, and endorse it by suggesting im weak for not getting sucked into your deplorable behaviour...
If your gonna make an argument, make one that helps your cause.. Idiot
Was a very neutral observer at the Wanderers v Africa game a couple of weeks ago. A very good hard fought win by the Wanderers. They did not look like they were going to lose, playing hard, but hard for the ball. Watching the game though, there was definitely some angst against the African side. I am not suggesting that the Wanderers are racist, and I think the angst was there due to the incident that occured against the Africans a couple of weeks before, which is a natural reaction from a good passionate side who lost a key player due to an occurance against the same side two weeks earlier.
There was not much shaking of hands after the game and a few comments were flown either way. I heard a few bull shit comments from a couple of your guys though Roo.
Any way... you guys are a top side and the way you played that particular day, your going to be hard to stop. Hope Adelaide Villa can be up for the challenge next year! A lot of these guys are just baiting you up Roo. At the end of the day, it is the results that count and you will hold up the trophy at the end of the year.
[quote="The Roo"]Having accused people of racsim on here many times, and being of non anglo-saxon background, i am shocked and disgusted that i have to defend myself on this... quote]
Can I just ask what the highlighted part has to do with it? You don't have to be anglo-saxon to be a racist.

Mr high IQ, who got the points at the end of the day? Nitwit
Pfft... Laney, gutless is when you punch someone behind play, get stuck in when it's 10 to 1 or go someone with their back to you. Not one of your players or drunken clowns on the side line was man enough to stand toe to toe with anyone... I don't know why I'm telling you. Gutless, you'd know all about it.

Are you suggesting that the Africans call bad decisions racism? How naive are you? I've asked a source from the club and I'm told the same story as Bodo said. For your information, I hear that referee has been to Africa's games about 3 times this season including their match against the Iggies at Cowandilla and nothing terrible happened. Don't try to cover up your racism. Why don't we just get to the bottom of this by calling Tasovac and some of the Africans to a meeting?
Dont shoot the messenger BellEnd!
You need to get your facts right, the ref last year who was called a racist hasnt been at any of their games because
he just does div 2.And is keen on them staying in div 1,because of the crap he gets!
So grow up and stop calling people racists.

In that case, I know which ref you are talking about, better not name him though What I will say, he didn't like the idea of Cooper Pedy Millwall coming into the league
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:
Colossus: One House
Costa: One Lunch
Oh and add in
Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

I was at that game. Even had the unsual event of running the line for boths sides on the one day.
I can back up there were real incidents on that day.

Bodo, what I meant was that the referee was the same one who ref'd the Africa v Iggies match at Cowandilla in the first half of this season 2008 and nothing happened

Ok, I've checked my facts. The ref is a popular ref. He was not called a racist except what Bodo said. He has ref'd Africa's games this year. He ref'd Africa v Jets, Iggies and Stirling. He's keen on them staying in div 1 because he's not had any trouble with them and really wishes them well. Why don't you check your facts and grow up? Ask Bodo and he'll tell you that he saw the same guy ref at Cowandilla against the Iggies this year, in DIVISION 1. You idiot

I've seen this referee at least half a dozen matches around the traps on saturdays and sundays. Bar one game it's always been division one including the Jets v Africa and Africa v Iggies games mentioned above. This referee is quite popular and over all I think he's one of the better ones out there. I've said it on this forum many a time. He speaks well and is usually in control. I know there was the one incident I mentioned above last season but I don't think the club harps on it. It was one player who lost it on the day and I've never seen him there since.

I know the ref you are talking about and i'd like to say he is the best ref we have had this year...maybe even the best ref ever He is very fair and even allows you to talk (not whinge) to him during the game which not alot of refs allow you to do any more. He also encorages when a player puts in a good tackle, shot or pass. After all the negativity of refs on another post on this forum i think it's about time we acknowledged the 'good' ones out there. As for the Africans they play the game in the right spirit and i hope they stay in Div 1.

I went to most of Africa's home games last season. I only ever saw one complaint of racism from the club, and that was by one player who was sent of against Old Ignations after running half the lenght of the pitch to protest with the referee something that had nothing to do with him. He was dragged away by club officials and I haven't seen him at the club since.
However, I have heard an instance of one referee who one player said he would never like to have do their games again and he was very strong about it, but the same person said it was nothing to do with race but to do with other things that had happened before. Whether they lodged an complaint with the SAASL I couldn't tell you.
