For your information, I hear that referee has been to Africa's games about 3 times this season including their match against the Iggies at Cowandilla and nothing terrible happened. Don't try to cover up your racism. Why don't we just get to the bottom of this by calling Tasovac and some of the Africans to a meeting?

What I will say, he didn't like the idea of Cooper Pedy Millwall coming into the league

I can back up there were real incidents on that day.

You need to get your facts right,the ref last year who was called a racist hasnt been at any of their games because
he just does div 2.And is keen on them staying in div 1,because of the crap he gets!

I've seen this referee at least half a dozen matches around the traps on saturdays and sundays. Bar one game it's always been division one including the Jets v Africa and Africa v Iggies games mentioned above. This referee is quite popular and over all I think he's one of the better ones out there. I've said it on this forum many a time. He speaks well and is usually in control. I know there was the one incident I mentioned above last season but I don't think the club harps on it. He is very fair and even allows you to talk (not whinge) to him during the game which not alot of refs allow you to do any more. He also encorages when a player puts in a good tackle, shot or pass. After all the negativity of refs on another post on this forum i think it's about time we acknowledged the 'good' ones out there. However, I have heard an instance of one referee who one player said he would never like to have do their games again and he was very strong about it, but the same person said it was nothing to do with race but to do with other things that had happened before. Whether they lodged an complaint with the SAASL I couldn't tell you.
