why try and hide behind Hawksey to protect your club. It's national youth week coming up I'm sure George Pell will be happy to help you cover up any more issues with the club!

That's fine mate...may have just been coincidental. Some things definitely should be removed but my question was simply an honest one and nothing to cause any more animosity :D ...and that was before the game I mentioned above which wouldn't have come into the equation.

Say what you may Hawkesy, but I have been told by a source who went to the Wanderers v Africa game that the Africans copped heaps of monkey and gorilla taunts. I hear Tasovac was the main instigator. Now that's very shameful indeed. Those Africans are some of the most friendly people I've ever met

And did I read someone say your club is an all-inclusive club? Here you are right on this forum descibing someone as not being human. Is that what you'll call banter? I wonder what you must have done to the Africans. I ask all clubs, except of course the whingerers and those like them, to join hands and help kick this racist behaviour out of the league.

if true and I have no reason to desbelieve you then that is disgraceful. I hope the referee reported it, because that is just not on. Had no problems whatsoever with Africa this year, always seemed friendly and had some banter with us. I was just trying to make a joke at monkey boy's expense.

I notice the Wanderers seem to be talking about everything but the Africa game.

I think he mentioned me because

a) i know him from our previous club
b) i knew about the comment that was deleted from one of the wanderers players

I don't think he's hiding behind me, he's too big you'd still be able to see him.

When the person received the envelope someone had written on it....

A woman at the game made a claim that racial slurs were made, however when asked by the Wanderers she did not know what was said or who said it.

The referee was asked if he heard anything and said that although he did not hear anything specific, both sides were involved in some heated dialogue. A complaint was made by one of the Africa players to the ref, however as he said to me, he didn't hear anything and as such could take no action.

Players were told before the league game, given that a Wanderers player was hospitalised during the cup game the previous week and there was definitely some bad blood, that the club would not tolerate any form of racial abuse. I was there and didn't hear anything racial, however I'm not saying that it couldn't have happened.

Given that no player/s were pointed out to the club by either the Africa player/s themselves, their supporters or the referee and that referee himself advised that he had no reason to take any action against any player on the park (from either side), what is it that you would like the club to do?

I know a bloke who is a league ref and does mostly sat div 2.
Last year he was ref of an Africa game and got loads of abuse
from the Africans, for not awarding them a penalty.
They were chanting your a Racist at him. then complained
to saasl, and said we dont want him as an official at our games
again because hes a Racist!

I went to most of Africa's home games last season. I only ever saw one complaint of racism from the club, and that was by one player who was sent of against Old Ignations after running half the lenght of the pitch to protest with the referee something that had nothing to do with him. He was dragged away by club officials and I haven't seen him at the club since.

However, I have heard an instance of one referee who one player said he would never like to have do their games again and he was very strong about it, but the same person said it was nothing to do with race but to do with other things that had happened before. Whether they lodged an complaint with the SAASL I couldn't tell you.

Who was the opponents in this game you speak of?

Yeah cause you heard it didnt you? Peasant.....
Anyone can accuse anyone of anything.. But thats got no credibility at all...
I, you imbecile, have heard it out of your own mouth... So its best that you be quiet..

The fact is everyone want to bring the best down with anything they can.. Because you cant beat us on the field, you're resorting to low, but familiar, cop outs for your clubs own impotency...
Worry about your rapidly declining season rather than ours.. It might not have been all over had you done this earlier..

Are you suggesting that the Africans call bad decisions racism? How naive are you? I've asked a source from the club and I'm told the same story as Bodo said. For your information, I hear that referee has been to Africa's games about 3 times this season including their match against the Iggies at Cowandilla and nothing terrible happened. Don't try to cover up your racism. Why don't we just get to the bottom of this by calling Tasovac and some of the Africans to a meeting?

No, the fact is that you are a racist. Stirling and BOSA have dominated this league before and we all saw how they behaved. No one is jealous of your club or wants to bring your club down. What people are saying here is that you lot are destroying the game with your racist behaviour. The Africans have been in the league since 2006 and have not had any problems with any other club.

Did one of the Africans complain to the ref? Did he point to Tasovac? Did the ref call Tasovac to warn him? If you answered yes to any of the above, then tell him to change.

I won't say this never happens because I have heard it from Tigers' fans on one occasion, and I've been accused of it at work in the past (usually a last resort when it's obvious they're not going to get their way), but bar that one incident last week I have never never heard it from the Allstars.

Having accused people of racsim on here many times, and being of non anglo-saxon background, i am shocked and disgusted that i have to defend myself on this... I can have never said anything close to racist in any game... Unless you were on the pitch during the game, you dont know what was said by the players or referee... So nice try, but if thats the best you got in terms of gamesmanship, try another tactic...
The Allstars and their players dont need any outsiders helping them, they are more than capable of looking after their own interests.. By you jumping on their band-wagon are you suggesting they are incapable of taking care of themselves? Isnt that racist?
No one said anything when one of their players went over the ball and hospitalised one of our players, cracking his sternum and two ribs, and according to the doctor, nearly killed him... But when its the other way around, everyone wants to bring us down.. Well your not going to, we're better than that..

That happened right in front of me. There was no intention to hurt the player in that challenge. Two people going full speed for the ball, unfortunately one was a little late.

Come on Bodo.. The ball was knocked past the defender and he didnt even make an attempt to change direction or slow down.. Now as a defender, isnt your natural reaction to follow the ball and move towards it? Didnt happen here did it?

Yes it was late.
Yes it was a foul.
But both players were going too fast to change direction.

Going to watch so many games, i wouldve thought youd pay more attention.. The attacker was basically waiting to recieve the ball and knocked it around the defender...
