if Italia weren't the best side at the World Cup then just who were??
Germany?? well they couldn't beat us on home soil, and lost to us 4-1 in a friendly before the cup
Portugal?? definitely not.
France?? struggled to make it out of what was meant to be an easy group and needed to dive to win the penalty to get into the final and then another dive to win the penatly that Zidane scored.
England?? enough said!
Argentina?? A great ball playing side (even better than the current Spain team technincally) but without the grit and mentality to get the hard results
Brazil?? they were quite crap compared to what everyone was expecting.

So your telling me from the first minute Greece went out there they were playing 100% with there heads up and trying there best to win the game, they did none of that, If they put my effort in then maybe they would deserve it.
If anything the teams that deserved it would be Romanie or Russia.

I agree here Italy were the best side of the world cup in 06 played with a plan and executed it perfectly. Teams coul've played on fro days and still not scored. So for me the last 2 major finals have seen the cream rise to the top . Arxidi stop the malakies lol we all know greece should've won the last world cup because we had mad strips there too!!!
