A's: Fc Adelaide 0 Adelaide Villa 2
B's: Fc Adelaide 0 Adelaide Villa 1

I still haven't seen Villa conceed a goal. Mind you Jack Mehorf in the Villa goal really didn't have a lot to do. In the A's there was not a lot between the two sides in the first half but Villa well on top in the second and in the end deserved their win. Can't say the same for the reserves which was a pretty even affair. Fc Adelaide can feel a bit hard done by to lose this one.

The 2-0 in brackets is half time scores or reserves scores?

A: Salisbury Villa 0 Vipers FC 0
B: Salisbury Villa 0 Vipers FC 0

Great contest in the A's. Villa were perhaps the better attacking side on the day, but Vipers rarely let them have a go. In the 2nd half Villa broke through but Matt Bates once again shone in between the post tipping it onto the bar. Andre Andrade stood out for the Vipers.

For the B's, a very close game that went close to swinging either way in the last 20. Credit to the Vipers for taking the first points of the season off of Villa, and really dominating that 2nd half.

Go the Vipers!

A's RB Eagles 0 Strathalbyn 0
B's 2 - 0

Strath played better than what they are on the table.

Disappointing we missed a lot of players today because of exam it was a good opportunity for RB eagles to get back into contention.

A good result for Adelaide Uni, and I guess for Navarino as well. The relegation battle looks like it's going to be an interesting one.

I meant the Bosa v Iggies result was a good one for Navarino. All three sides were level on points before today and if those two have dropped points they are still within touching distance of Navarino, who must overcome both if they are to survive.

Reserves games started of with a bit of pushing and shoving, but that soon turned into some decent hard football. Great defending by the viper reserves today. In the A's game, lots of pressure by villa, but the difference between them I firmly believe was fitness. Vipers still moved the ball around quite well and met the ball quite alot. Villa have some quality players, if they were fitter no doubt there would have been some serious damage!

SPOC 5 - 1 Gleeson.

SPOC dominated the game and had a perfectly legal goal disallowed in the 10th or so minute. Gleeson are not a very good side, and I believe will maybe staving off relegation. They seem to have lost a few players from the prediction at the start of the season that they would win the league???

Gay result with Wanderers win.....
Im surprised that BOSA didnt thump Iggies seeing as they (iggies) were one of the worst teams we have played.

A's Sturt 9 - Cougars 2
B's Sturt 4 - Cougars 0

B's game called off early. From what we could understand Cougars coach wanted his players to walk off after one was sent off??!! Not too sure on the mentality. Probably saving themselves from a higher score line!!

A's game quite a physical contest. Cougars resorting to niggle off the ball due to lack of class compared to Sturt. One sent off during second half for outrageous kick on Sturt's left back some 30 yards behind play. Poor effort from a pathetic Cougars player. Sturt unlucky to concede 2 really although free kick for Cougars first was nicely taken. At the end of the day another comprehensive win for a dominant Sturt outfit.

Great work on the table Bodo - cheers for that!!

A good solid win by the Wanderers, considering injuries we have at the moment as does other teams I know. A few B's stepped up into the a's today & played very well!!

What's happened to Gleeson? Monkey Boy is right, they were claiming they'll win the league this year...

All the results were in quite early today. Interesting results at both ends. The Jets results surprsed me as Stirling haven't had the best of seasons (when compared to last year). The relegation tussle is looking interesting to as Navarino play the Iggies next week.
