Comets U12's vs Airport School Zone (FRIENDLY)
It was a friendly game but it didn't stop both teams going in hard. Airport got the first goal of the game late in the first half. Comets played with only 10 players and no subs while Airport had alll 11 players on the field and 2 subs.During half time Comets got an 11th player. Comets got the first goal of the 2nd half which levelled the scores at 1-1. One of Comets players had to go off mid way through the second half so Comets were back down to 10 players (not like they weren't used to it). Shortly after Comets were back to 11 players but Airport scored a volley from inside the box. In the last minutes Comets hit the post and another was flukily saved by a deffender who was standing in the box. Airport held on to the 2-1 lead and the game ended that way... Comets U12's 1 vs Airport School Zone 2.

Good on ya Drogbaman11 for the post.
Most of the responses just go to show how arrogant and elitist most club players (not that they would know what either word means...they are just so smart
) when it comes to the subject of schools soccer.
The SAPSASA carnival next week should be alot of fun for the districts (like Airport) involved and there will be a lot of raw talent on show. There will also be a lot of good club players there who are not as up themselves as some of those on this forum.

Yeah, im involved in the SAPSASA carnival and club soccer anyway. Oh yeh and one more thing. If you go to a private school and play club soccer you have to play school soccer so we(club players) do have knowledge about other things such as school sport .

Just surprised at your original post.
So are you going to start the SAPSASA thread or shall I?
