Parafield v Downs

Post by swannsong »

Just wondering, I've thought about going to the game on the weekend, but is it safe to take kids to Parafield ?
There's been a lot of bad press coming out of the suburb during the week.

Much safer in the eastern suburbs. Trinity gardens will be the place to be.

Big game for both clubs this week :!:
Doesnt matter where either team currently sits on the ladder this still is one of the biggest games on the soccer calander.
Expect another bumper crowd with banter thrown from all angles :D
Downs results recently have some saying a form slump but IMO you can never write them off. Quality all over the park
With Gardens starting to show what they can do & hitting some form with players returning from injury it has the making of another tight tussle.
BODO your gonna miss a cracker

Bring on Sunday :D

p.s Formites with what Parafield Gardens Soccer & Social Clubs puts back into the local community, i think some of the previous posts are pretty low blows to everybody involved with P.G.S.S.C in light of recent events

It's pretty miserable and wet down south today and I have a full on cold.
What's the weather like at Parafield at the moment, I'm trying to convince myself I should still go to the game.

Im a bit further out than Parafield ATM. Out at the Beff....

Its not too bad out here. no rain as of yet. It did this morning but its dried up so far.

Always worth coming for a decent game of football though.
I think my drinking club has a soccer problem.....

He did cop a kick to the "groin".
Similar thing happened to me once for the Downs v Seaford.
I ended up having exploratory surgery...haematoma (bleeding into scrotum ! )
Always wore a "protector" after that.......would recommend every keeper wear one!

Ben got home sunday night and went to bed unaware anything was wrong, after he woke up monday morning with pains he went about his usual business but couldnt shake it. Monday night he had the doctor round to his house (ON HIS BIRTHDAY) and tuesday morning went into hospital but scans show no damage. So Benny will be all ready for sunday without a doubt. will be good to watch him play. havent seen it in a long time!! All the best for the rest of the season Ben and Happy birthday for Monday.

Once a fisherman always a fisherman! nice one Joe...... well here it is, going off the form from the past couple of weeks and new inclusions it will be very difficult if not impossible for me to make the firsts. Due to several birthdays in the family in the past week it will be good to have a day with the family watching the football. So it should be a good day........:
1) Bacon and Eggs Day
2) Beat The gully
3) Watch a Div 1 Game
4) Beer tastes good after a win

Maybe a goal or two from yours truly
