Good win to Henley. Seaview were without a couple of key players but two players don't make a team. They lost the midfield and lost the game. Apparently it was 0-0 at half time - must have been one hell of a second half.

Small hard ground...didn't stop us from winning though, also AP missed a penalty when it was 0-0 so could have changed the game but Glenunga with too much quality in the endTHE_SUPER_STAR wrote:yeh thats right cabernet team and cabernet ground it was so smallIpswichTown1878 wrote:Aberfoyle Park (spelling :?)THE_SUPER_STAR wrote:Glenunga won today 5-1 cant remember the school name it started with A

Glenunga will probably beat Seaview and go through now, and Henley will smash Aberfoyle and finish second!

yea i played in that match against unley and the main reason the match was called off was cause one of their players ran up, jumped and cracked one of my team-mates in the eye before sprinting off like a little pussy

7th August - 2nd Round
Xavier College held host to both Paralowie and Le Fevre
Xavier 10-0 Paralowie
Le Fevre 3-1 Paralowie (I think)
Xavier 8-1 Le Fevre
Xavier easily go through to the next round. To many goal scorers to be named...

Re: Open School Knock Out Football
i heard Blackfriars are underfeated so far,
they drew to Rostervor 2-2 in a night game apparently
and then beat them in a friendly 4-0 or something not 100% sure about the score
i also heard they broke a school record for having the longest underfeated team for open soccer at Blackfriars so far for this season
they sound not to bad
and also one of my mates go to Blacks and told me they have got a night game against St Micks this tuesday night, the 12th, at adelaide city junior ground in unley, think he said 6:30 or 7 kick off
i going to head down there to watch them
should be and hopefully be a good game![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Open School Knock Out Football
Ive heard from a couple of footballing sources that Henley have an excellent specialist youth program that rivals that of most clubs! I think that they shld get thru quite easy. Quality coaches, Quality fields, quality players and quality gear.King Ledley wrote:I agreedavidvilla wrote:Glenunga will host Seaview and Henley in the first round open group stage knk out. Yes that is true. Henley have to "guest" coaches who come once every week, as well as two regular coaches. One of these guest coaches is a Brazilian ex-professional footballer who has played in Brazil, Switzerland, Malaysia and back home in the NSL.Luke Toni wrote:Ive heard from a couple of footballing sources that Henley have an excellent specialist youth program that rivals that of most clubs! He has also played for Brazil (but I'm not sure if this was at a senior level).
He was also the national coach/manager of the Solomon Islands.

He wouldn't have anything on Xavier's import coach S. Mullord
