Geez, Croatians must be spewing this morning. You think you've won the game with a last minute extra time goal, only for Turkey to score in injury time of extra time!
I only saw highlights and to me Croatia had the much better chances to win the game in normal time.
Such is football.
I still say ze Germans will win this tournament.

I was watching this game in a Croatian cafe at the time, you could've heard a pin drop when Petric's penalty was saved!
I was looking forward to a rematch of Germany v Croatia, but you never can tell what pressure can do to players with expectations of the nation. The general consensus was that Croatia would win 3:0 or similar ease, but now the pressure will be on Germany. There a lots of Germans on holidays in Croatia, so the taunts of the hrvati after defeating the Germans earlier this week would have made for an awesome rematch in the semis.
Ah well, it was like the Portugal v Germany 1/4-final, Croatia had the better chances close to goal like Portugal, but Turkey took it out with a freak goal in the last kick of the match, then kept their cool to hit 3 penalties straight and Croatia miss 2 and had one saved.

That's football!
Probably another upset on the cards, maybe Russia?

Great atmosphere around Austria and Switzerland, no matter which team you follow.
Just gotta love this great game of Football!!! I witnessed Romanian supporters singing "Arivaderci Roma" in the streets of Zurich, before their game that night in Zurich, and the Italian supporters sang back, "No,No,No, arivaderci Roma-nia" - they got it right. No fighting just all great spirit and fun.
The name of the game is "Respect", slogans plasted everywhere.

A few complaints by some spectators of seating arrangements and poor veiwing in the Zurich stadium, but at least they got tickets
