Re: One Player
I'd pick Eric from Westies. Young and quick with good skills. Always plays well against us to. Can play as a defender or winger.
If he was slightly younger then Billy Karapiditis. Creates so much in the midfield and is a clever, clever player.
Outside of Sunday Div 1, I agree with Roo, Sam Barbaro in the middle of the park is class. A bit like Billy, age is against him.
Despite the age though, would take Chris Nicholls any day of the week. Pure quality.

Re: One Player
would have to say tassovac from the wanderers, the way he portrays himself on the park is all class truley a gentleman of the game!
Re: One Player
.....few good players mentioned.jets no.7 wrote:would only have ryan to take the peneltys!
Mcmanaman aka Moggy all class, as is Nicholls.
Sat league....cant go past Scalzi/Ceracchio....both brilliant on the ball, great ability to bring other players into the game plus impossible to knock off their game, verbally or physically
Sun league....Johnny Hoppo is one for me...tough little prick, unbelievable work rate, which other players feed off....importantly, great bloke to have around. A fit Jurek. Clackers Clarke.
To few mirrors in the sheds at PHE to get Farmer Joe back in the red & white.....
Re: One Player
I think you meant to say conducts himself on the park, but once again, youve proved that your intelligence level is that of a sulphur-crested galah... This coming from the most racist player in the league.. You cant beat him with ability or verbal exchanges, thats probably why you dont like him..
Id have to say the number 7 from the Jets.. What a player!! Doesnt touch the ball for 60 mins...

Pretty low call when you call someone racist when you don't even know him, say what you like about jet no 7 on the park or what he writes on here but that's a pretty average comment imo.
Re: One Player
After you nominate your own teammate when the thread is about nominating players from other clubs I wouldn't be questioning someone elses intelligence. The Roo wrote:I think you meant to say conducts himself on the park, but once again, youve proved that your intelligence level is that of a sulphur-crested galah... And I'm sure you meant to say "You cant beat me with ability or verbal exchanges, thats probably why you dont like me.."
It's pretty obvious who you are.
Re: One Player
Jack Mantzarapis from Pumas. Their only player, who is hard, fast and scores/sets up goals week in week out. Definitely gave up fed football too early.
Agree with Billy K and Sam Barbaro, also class players creating numerous attacks from the middle of the park.

Re: One Player
Good topic!
I find it a bit strange how NO ONE has said (apart from a joke) that they would have any of the 3 B&F winners for the league last year (Sun Div 1) people see the game differently. Nothing against Bert, Gary or the guy from Lion. HOW MANY FROM THE STATE TEAM?
Its horses for courses. If your looking for a
Goalkeeper: Peace, Aldridge, Greenwood
Defenders: Kaftan, Ennis, Red
Midfielders: Juric, Fuda, D.Nicholls, Hoppo...... GOLDER
Forwards: C.Nicholls, Rutter
The list could go on and on
Could probably squeeze O'Malley in there too!!

All fair calls, but i'm :? about Rutter up front - I've personally marked him 3 times & he's never scored or even looked like scoring (not dissing the bloke, but I've marked better...)Left Right Out wrote:Good topic!

Re: One Player
You marked him last year when he wasn't training at was away every 10 days working in the mines. He has been terrorising defences this year. Second leading goal scorer in Sunday Div 1. Every team would have him at the moment.Sirslapsalot wrote:All fair calls, but i'm :? about Rutter up front - I've personally marked him 3 times & he's never scored or even looked like scoring (not dissing the bloke, but I've marked better...)Left Right Out wrote:Good topic!

Re: One Player
I know enough about him and hear the filth that comes out of his mouth, especially when he's losing... You might be right though, cause i havent seen him any other time...
Far King, are you still upset how we beat you? Its only a game, get over it... You acting like you actually had a chance...

Glad to see you've come out of hiding, take you a few days to get over the loss did it?The Roo wrote:I know enough about him and hear the filth that comes out of his mouth, especially when he's losing... You might be right though, cause i havent seen him any other time...

Perhaps you should be concentrating more on how you're going to beat a side that's in the bottom half of the table, maybe third time will be the charm?
Re: One Player
Sorry i dont dwell on here all day looking to make my life exciting...
Maybe its good that your concentrating more on the cup, having lost the league and all...

Re: One Player
From memory he was at Gleeson last year & only played 1 game against us at our ground early in the season. Marked him twice the year before when he was at Farm, the leading scorer for Sunday Div 2 so I was told by Robbo and we met in the Champions game..Jay Walking wrote:You marked him last year when he wasn't training at was away every 10 days working in the mines. Anyways, not saying he's not good - just saying there's better that I've marked in Saturday Div 1 league. Goldstone was a pretty good striker for Stirling last year...
