And more importantly, if the game goes ahead will it get finished?
Re: Black Eagles - kicked out of league
The same thing happened last season in Sunday Div 2. I think there was an incident between Croatia & the Vikings. I can't remember all the details but I think the Vikings we're made to forfeit some games, Croatia maybe as well? Vista we're scheduled to play the Vikings in the last few rounds but didn't due to the league & in the end Vista stayed up while the Vikings got relegated. Vikings are dominating in Div 3 though this season so should come back up straight away.
As I said I'm just going on memory so let me know if there's more to it than what I've said.

Yes you are correct, both had to forfiet two games.Ronnie#10 wrote:The same thing happened last season in Sunday Div 2. I think there was an incident between Croatia & the Vikings. Yeah that's what I thought. No offense intended to any of the teams mentioned but how is that fair? When a team is battling to stay up a team 1 or 2 spots ahead of them gets awarded the 3 points without a game being played? As an ex Vista player I'm happy they stayed up but it doesn't make sense to me.Bodø Glimt wrote:Yes you are correct, both had to forfiet two games.Ronnie#10 wrote:The same thing happened last season in Sunday Div 2. Re: Black Eagles - kicked out of league
This was also the case at the top of Div 2 last year, West Beach had to play Croatia (i think?) and were awarded a 2-0 win. Who knows whether or not Croatia would have won or got a draw, but this had an impact on the title as Gullies would have gone up if Croatia had of got something out of the game! In saying that the Gullies didnt do enough on the last day and by current form would have been the whipping boys in Div 1!Ronnie#10 wrote:Yeah that's what I thought. Needless to say in the away leg all the engines were left running during the game!
How the hell do teams like this end up in our leagues? Doesn't the SAASL make enough money?! Stop letting them in!!! For farks sake, people ended up in hospital years ago because of people probably still involved with this team. Forget about who "they know", what difference does it make when they act like the sub-humans they are?

What are you laughing at? The fact 3 of your supporters couldn't bring my brother down, or how pathetic your supporters are?

Re: Black Eagles - kicked out of league
Their players started kicking an opposition player on the ground, then after the opposition stepped in to get their player out, the supporters ran on and all hell broke loose. In all fairness, it wasn't their supporters fault - they'd only been sitting there innocently drinking straight from bottles of Johnny Red and swearing all game like a well-behaved bunch

Not defending their actions, but what made them kick this guy in the first place? I suppose he did nothing to provoke anything beforehand, right?

I can't remember - it was 7 years ago. But no-one deserves to be kicked in the head, do they? Plus the guy was on the ground, that shows cowardness and dirtiness.

Ronnie, You are partly correct.... The Vikings got two games and Croatia got three games.
I believe that these two teams were made an example of, unfairly in my opinion, as there was no crowd invasion... just pushing and shoving.
The league has taken a backward step if that judgment was made last year.... there have been far more serious clashes this year, with no repremands or suspensions handed out( besides black eagles, only after numerous offenses!)

Don't know what happened then, but there was no excuse for what happened against Simba Of Congo last month.

Go you reds, "there have been far more serious clashes this year", not sure about that, or as there was no crowd invasion... just pushing and shoving. from my spectating point one of the Vikings players was taken from the ground in an Ambulance to hospital for MRI scans on his head!!, not sure if you class that as serious! As for no crowd invasion, not sure where you were looking. Didnt the player file a Police report on the incident also, I think that last years event was classed as far more serious by the SAASL.

I'm gonna weigh in on this one and mention that you are not doing your clubs poor reputation or your own credibility any favours by coming on here and advocating violence or hurling abuse at random people (no less Bodo, king of the Forum). Your club won't survive long if you continue to adopt this aggressive mentality (violence, whether it is retaliation or not, is still violence and I'd suggest there are only so many times it can happen before even the slow moving SAASL act).#10 Shqiptar wrote:yeh sori we cant all be like u bodo, on the computer 24/7 and how old r u?? into ur 40's seriousli wt else do u do apart from staying in this forum buddy?Bodø Glimt wrote:Your grammar, spelling and punctuation suggests you weren't born seven years ago.
Do yourself a favour, if you really care for your club and want to survive, focus your energy on what your club needs to do on the park to stop these incidents happening. Building a positive reputation and realtionship with other clubs speaks louder than defending your club with abuse on a forum.
