Help for selecting boots

Post by wapalee »

Hi i am looking for some new pairs of firm ground soccer boots but i'm not sure which one to choose. I have no budget (under $500). I looked at the f50.8s but to me it seemed heavy compared to the mercurial vapor IV FG. Can somone please tell me if the weight of the boots will make you run slower or not. To me i believe that lighter boots will make you run faster, if not someone prove me wrong. I play defence but sometimes when our strikers are maned on heavily they put me as striker because of my speed. Mainly i am looking at the f50.8s or mercurial vapor IV, but i prefer to spend less money. So can someone please tell me whether the how heavy the boots are it depends how fast you are. Does heavier boots make you faster or slower?
In Rebel sports they are selling f50.8 for $200 aus dollars and $280 for mercurial vapor $280, if there is a site cheaper please link me

Get heavier boots then you won't fall over as much!
Plus, if they are named after a really good player then they will make you play much better!

Oh yes. Remember, more stripes = more speed.

If you can couple that with some bright bizarre colour, even better.

Normally it's about 2 - 3 stone of beer belly that slows you down a bit. :D

I bought some Asics Tigreor's for this season. Great boots! Almost half way through the season (I use them at trainings and games) and they are still like new... normally my boots would start splitting by now.

Hi sorry i have not seen the movie, is it really true more stripes give you more speed. If it does what is an example of soccer boots which have stripes on the boots?

Yes. Stripes + red boots are the best.

Don't be waisting your time with black boots, red boots, stripes or no strips!!!!
what you need is the new ADIDAS MUPPETS, they come in a nice green colour, you'd almost say the had fur on them.

Are you serious mate? If you've got $500 to spent on a pair boots (Not sure why you'd be willing to part with $500 in the first place for boots but anyway) surely your old enough to make up your own mind. Jesus what's next? What colour undies we all wear to make us go faster? Comon seriously!

Long Bomb, is that you??

Here is what I think, Don't bother with Adidas, Nike or Reebok. Go get some Doc Martins( steel-capped) and give yourself a good kicking for being a complete twat!!!

Go to have you back Grouse..Upfront for you this weekend

if you are good, you play good. if your crap, your crap. if your average, your average..
his reason because he wants to be super quick  well the difference it is gonna make on the ball for himself
is laughable...save the $$$ and lose more weight ..really this is a joke to spend the extra dollars on mercurial vapor IV FG
to get more speed..Nike and Sony the masters of great marketing while ripping the customer off

:clown: William had lovely wish wellingtons however one could argue that these weren't boots :D
8) Gully have a coach named boots however there is only one there and one doesnt make a pair, so unless you planned on running around with one on that wont help :P
Maybe ask Jessica Simpson she has a pair of boots made for walking if that is you pace :?:

Otherwise just do us all a favour and pick a pair with laces on top and studs on the bottom and not worry about colour or stripes, who cares if they are nike or adidas

 LET YOUR FEET DO THE TALKING, NOT THE BOOTS THEY ARE IN
