WHat the hell was nikopolidis doing with the goal, very disappointing,

too old
too slow
doesnt have the brains to be a keeper anymore,

JUST RETIRE

I think he was thinking he was playing for olympiakos where if he makes a mistake they can overturn it.

Who knows? Caught in no mans land in what was the decisive goal. Greece crash out, and Spain win the group. Sweden and Russia to fight it out for the last spot. Sweden only needs a draw. Russia must win.

of course will will always love and follow them but they have let us down, they played well 2nd half, but their attitude in game with sweden has cost us bigtime, had we got a draw at least then we could have afforded a loss tonight

cmon re, even if we drew against swe there was no way this side was gonna take 3pts off the Spaniards. In that scenario, even if odds of 50/1 came up for Gre to beat Spain i wouldnt risk a dollar on em.

what im saying is if we had drawn with sweden we could have gone into the game with russia with more confidence and maybe got a win there, there would have been a better chance, but end of the day u are right, not enough quality

Very dissapointing tournament. This team needs a new vision. What was the malaka germano doing shaking hands with the russian fans while the game was still going on? He has well and truely lost it in the head. It will be a disaster if he isnt sacked on his return to greece.

Time to rebuild the team...these lads achieved something we will never ever forget, but their time has passed.

Im soo fucking tired. Great effort by everyone tonight at the Royal.

Bring on the 2010 world cup qualifiers.

fellas, like i wrote 4 years ago...... our euro win was a result of all the stars alligning at the right time.

we had the right group of players at the right time of their career led by the right coach with the right tacticts, not to mention the element of surprise. it wont happen again!!!!!!

we were found out

too old and slow
predictable
lacked at least 1 world class midfielder
had no strikers
no alternative game plan
GK :clown:

the party is over

what oto was able to do was show us that we can compete bY at least reaching major tournaments!!!

Unfortunately i couldn't catch the game this morning but i caught the highlights.

Russia's goal was piss weak. Wasn't the best goal in the Euro Tournament but it still counts i guess.

Nikopolidis, Thank you for what you have done in the past for Greece but it's time to move on. The guy is 36 and is past his use by date. Time to hang up the boots and let someone else come in goals.

Hopefully Greece can at least go out on a winning note against Spain so at least we can have something to cheer about.

if anything the way i see this tournament greece is the weakest side of all (cmon f*ing russia with no attacking options), didnt want to comment before i saw them. Last euro has nothing on this in terms of quality and attacking play, lol scoring from corners and freekicks is not enough anymore  :D
there are no easy teams.

You know whats up-setting about all this Filikis.
You said ,that after Greece's win,you were all going to march to my
house. And here i am inviting you all,i got up at 5 am
and started the coffees, bacon and eggs, and then i was waiting
for you all.Noone came and then i went on livescore
and Greece lost 1-0. Thats when i knew noone was coming
over. But the good thing about it. I got bacon and eggs for
a week, all i have to do is heat it up and eat.
THANKS FOR NOTHING FILIKIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND REMEMBER IF ANYONE CAN-THE CANDYMAN CAN

Heh he is all defensive now about people bagging Greece when he has been the first, and will be the first if for example, Italy get knocked out. Some people are just wankers.
