ABE player ( midfielder) collided with Modbury player 2 mins into the game and broke his collarbone.

Will be out for at least 6 weeks - thanks Modbury
you need to clarify your post, sounds like you are implying something :?

hope the lad recovers well :|
The injured player is one of the best players in the team and lose him to an unnecessary push is upsetting - he is now miss out on playing at least 7 games which doesnt help the team.

Anyone got the Gawler vs Para Hills U14B result?
Gawler 1 Para Hills 5

Nil all at half time. Para's too strong in the end and defiantly deserved the win but the game was soured when para's were given penalty, after the Gawler keeper saved both the pen and the rebound the ref allowed Para to take it again because he decided that the keeper moved off his line. It was absolutely crap, anyone who was there saw how unfair it was, they were two fantastic saves and Para's were gifted the goal. After that I'm afraid the Gawler keeper dropped his head a bit and made a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes at the end of the game which boosted the score a bit. Another power trip for this ref who I think is confused with a keeper diving forward and moving forward off his line. The lad didn't move off his line before the kick was taken but correctly picked which side and dived forward to meet the ball, but then the ref didn't blow for the retake until the keeper saved the rebound, surely he should have blown for the retake before the rebounded save . The ref told him he could only move sideways. Go figure :?

You have missed the point - imagine you were 15 years old, break a collar bone , go through physical pain for 6 weeks and not play football - would you like it?

LOL @ that game!

well, i couldnt really tell the whole story, but suposedly people just got fired up due to incidents that happened earlier on in the game!
a penalty was awarded to ABE, and it just started from that!

3 red cards later, the game continued :?

Sorry Sarg but I think it may be you that missed Barney's point or something didn't come up right with your original post. Obviously no-one would like their collar bone broken at any age.

It seemed to imply that it was a deliberate attempt to break the player's collar bone. I can understand your feelings about a team mate getting an injury like that but to say, "thanks Modbury", is a bit malishious. And that is what we are questioning.

To reiterate Barney's good wishes - I hope the lad has a quick and uncomplicated recovery.

Funny how this game can turn around and bite you in the ass when you make yourself out to be a super coach.
