Yes Chriso has resigned as a coach put will still put in 100% on the park. He was reluctant to take the job at the start of the year and I suppose after two years of success and promotion he couldnt resist being the first ever Div 1 coach of the Pontian Eagles. He deserved his chance. Unfortunatly business and personal commitmants have taken their toll and he has pass on the coaching roll to someone else, the man called "Karfi". Do you know this guy Sharp Shooter? or will you wait till its posted somewhere else and then tell us who it is and again for no real reason mention my name!

The club has taken some time in agusting to div1 football and when we have a had a full strength team we have done well. We have been in a winning position in all games bar one against vale

2-0 up V Lion 20 minutes to go - Lost 2-3
3-2 up Vs East 10 min to go - Drew 3-3
2-2 Vs PHW penalty decision not given lose with own goal 2-3
3-0 up Vs Florina 25 minutes to go 3-3 draw.

We should of had another 8 points to take to the top but we are not there so we know we can play, just have to do for 90 mintues.

I think Golden Eagle's tendency to over-emphasise words and cut the end of the words when he speaks, especially on television, is quite annonying.

Saw Pontians play last year and know a couple of the boys, there a good outfit and did well, there position does not do them justice, and I agree with Golden Eagle, they will be contenders soon.
