French cup is on at 4:25am. As for Hungary v Greece... they met in qualifying for Euro 2008. I only got around to watching that game this morning.

Hungary v Greece at 3am, then French Cup final on at 5am and then the replay of Greece v Cyprus (unfortunately didn't get to watch most of it, the goals in any case) at 8am.....my night/morning is set.

What a magical performance by the Magyars, a great display by Hungary in the 3-2 win, how good was that first Hungary goal as well? The game was very good, played at a great pace with both teams looking to attack the other at every turn....i'm watching the replay of that 1.

i saw it live. it was a shit game! greece didnt even look like they wanted to be there, with negative body language, no running, no offering from teammates when ball was in possession. the performance by greece was not even close to how they played in qualifiers. hungary on the other hand looked desperate to win and played like a cup final. Greece hit a point blank header into the post. could have been a draw with greece underperforming in every way. they looked cocky to me and sat way too deep and offered no run!

It was hardly a cabernet game, especially in the second half the ball was moving back and forth between goals at a frenetic pace, and both teams were shooting at every opportunity...I thought that was exciting at least. I know there are a lot of Greek boys on this forum but Greece was simply out played by a team that wanted the game more.

Oh no I support the mighty Bling FC....go to almost all of their homes plus go to a fair few away games as well, sat with the Cove on various occassions as well, sat with them during that 4-5 game at Blue Tongue Stadium, what an experience that was. We have the second highest attendance of any A League team I thought so what's going on with that comment??

massive population, reasonoable atendance but still dissapointing the club cant match Victory for support and if they had 35,000+ fans the credibility of the league would skyrocket. Yet 70,000 clowns go and watch Becks in an exhibition match!

Well obviously I can't control the rest of the population, all I can do is support the A League and spread the good word to as many of my friends as I can. The Beckham exhibition game could only do well for the A League considering that it attracted so many people.

Sydney FC IS the A League our marquee signings and guest stint players attract popularity to the A League, Yorke, Kazu, Carbone, Juninho, Aloisi (not all have been a huge success but no one can argue that they don't put more bums on seats, ). As for rivalries and people hating Sydney FC, that's all well and good, but remember that without Sydney FC the A League would take a huge step down in quality, plus who would almost everyone hate then? Melbourne Victory??? Oh big ups to Adelaide United for getting Romario...brought a bit more credit to the A League as well and making the knockout round of the Asian Champions League (well done, but Sydney FC will be the first won to win it  )

the appointment of Butcher was a set back for Sydney, they went from champions to a pretty crap team that year. With kossie in charge expect a defensive attitude although he has a bigger budget in Sydney.

I agree that Yorke was a great 1st up signing but nowdays I don't expect to be entertained watching a Sydney game, probably only Victory with Fred were a team who played free flowing football. A marquee coach would be more valuable than most players to any club!
