Nice work Tilley! Glad to see your comment is of great value im so proud.

BEFORE U ALL JUMP ON MY BACK IM NOT MAKING EXCUSES AS WE WERE DESERVEDLY BEATEN!!!

Vista did have several players missing today and started with no subs... this being due to injury and work. This caused for a slightly altered lineup and probably didnt gel straight away. yes i agree the mistakes seem to be costing us the games at the moment and if we can just get the shite out of our system im sure wed get alot more results swing our way. The commitment seems to be there from most and there is definately no turmoil at the club all is well and happy. Todays game was played in good spirits and apart from our crap start i think the game was quite well balanced.

Lets be honest i think with the situation that we are in, the cup is not what we need to be focussing on right now. The league needs to be a priority and hopefully we can start getting some results!

The Ressies should do well in the cup though i think they have the potential to go a few rounds in! Great pitch at the cove by the way and lovely scenery!!

imanoutlaw said he was the leading scorer but got dropped!

They're saturday div 2, relegated from div 1 last year. They have a C team in div 4 and another C team in div 5.

A: Adelaide Vipers 2 Para Hills West 5
B: OISC (B) 10 Adelaide Vipers 0

Scorers: Andrade, Ganiaris

Great effort from the A's for Vipers, we fought hard and had them on the back foot for parts of the game. When we were on top of them they seemed to get frustrated, and we did get the ball behind their defence about 10 or so times, so maybe there's a tip in there for some Div 1 teams  We were 1-1 in the 1st half, and then 1-2 at half time, before they got a penalty straight from kick-off and another goal a minute later to really seal it.

Very proud effort from the Vipers today, they've taken a lot out of this and will build on it! Good luck to both the Westies and Iggies in the cup.

It was definitely 11, i know because I went in goal at 10-0 to give our keeper a run and we scored one after that.

First thing i did was take a goal kick and passed it straight to their forward

Only touched the ball twice in about 10 minutes.

I might well pop up to the Downs for the B's game tomorrow. Weather and kids dependant. Will you be watching?

I was actually expecting the standard vista response...."unlucky today"....

From what I've read this season by all the vista boys, Vista have apparently been the most unluckiest side in the history of the saasl. At least Matt A didnt make too many excuses then today.

On our day we can compete with most but unfortunately injury and illness has hit us hard this week and we had to forfeit our B's game against Munno Para. Apologies to the Para club but we had no choice and the lads were very dissapointed. I have no misconceptions about todays game and know its going to be a huge challenge given our depleted squad but we'll give it a shake. Anything goes in cup games as you all know. We welcome the Wanderers to our club and look forward to an enjoyable day and a few beers following. Thanks town crier :D

Not sure yet, means heading off before 11:30 to get there in time, but I'm always there in spirit !
Big Downs v Vale derby next week.
So I might pop around the corner to watch Southern Knights v Pontian Eagles.
If you do go enjoy the atmosphere, I'm somewhat biased but I believe the Downs have one of the best club rooms around.
My brother and the other Chairmen before him have done a great job.

I've played them before and they are not much cop. You just have to watch the good old cricket pitch running though the centre of the pitch that is usually just covered with sand!!! makes it interesting.

But please please please do the Saturday league a favour and don't lose to them, a very average div 2 side!!! I'm just imagining the headlines now.......

Good job Monkey....we are actually a Div 3 side so start imagining the headlines now :!: and dont be scared of the cricket pitch it dosnt bite  and there is an approved rubber mat under the sand and is perfectly safe. But seeing as you dont know what division we're in i seriously doubt you know anything about our side at all

Strathalbyn 0 - 4 Gleeson (a's)

Shouldve been 10 easily, didnt play too well, but a win is a win..

A big 2 thumbs down to the strath coach who persistantly whinged and abused the gleeson players, despite most of the 'strange' referees decisions going their way.. Have a tea spoon of cement mate and harden up..pathetic example for your club.

majority of the strath boys good lads, apart from the captain who was an absolute d*ickhead.. ran around like a headless chicken: useless..
