Thought so. The only spectator that wasn't in either camp. You kicked the ball to me once... I feel all warm and fuzzy now!

Usually I am not in either camp. I hope you weren't one of those players giving your linesman stick. I think he got most of his decisions right today (certainly the ones I was in line with he got right).

What a game. 1-1 at half time, 3-3 after 90', 4-4 at half time of extra time and 5-4 in the end. No side had a lead of more than one goal either. To be honest, when you guys took it to 2-3 I thought you were going to run away with it. Navarino looked like they were running out of legs but somehow managed to level it, and take the lead twice in extra time.

No argument with the penalty. Clear foul. Your fourth goal on the stroke of half time in extra time caused some controversy. I wasn't in line with it so I couldn't make an accurate decision on whether it was on or off.

You played in the rezzies and scored the first goal right? Look just like your avatar! That was a cracker of a goal. It looked like Navarino ran out of steam in the second half. It's the first reserves game I've seen that actually got 45 minutes in both halves!

To begin with I was on the same side as eveyone else and in the reserves game it wasn't a problem, but when the first team kicked off the sun was annoying and eventually went to the other side.

Same old same old for Vista.. Sh!t first half and two mistakes inside first ten minutes. Rest of the game was more competetive and looked a different side!

No. I was the one carried off at the start of the second half. Ankle ligaments fcuked by the looks of it...

Our linesman was 100% correct with that decision (non giving it offside). I had a perfect view and it wasn't. I see it as an attempt by our defence to shift the blame to him... but it was poor marking really that resulted in the goal. He was fair all day in my opinion.

The controversy surrounding our fourth goal was because of Navarino's linesman. Every time we kicked the ball forward he had his flag up... I can tell you that time it wasn't offside. Even I got up off the ground and limped around to abuse him. Blatant cheating. Although, a few times we had players offside but he wasn't inline and missed it but none of those attacks resulted in goals though.

I don't think it was blatant. The ones I was in line with he got right, but I wasn't in line for that one so I don't know.

Bs

Cove 2 Parafield Gardens 1

So going by the ludicrous statements above, Saturday better than Sunday.

As

Cove 3 Modbury Vista 1

Interesting match. Cove 1 up inside first 30 seconds with the only touch for Modbury coming off a defender to go in the goal. Five minutes later Cove 2 up with another bit of calamitous defending. However, for the best part of the rest of the half it was an even contest. Modbury had the bulk of possession in the opening part of the second half, but really lacked killer punch up front. Cove scored the third with Modbury down to 10 men due to injuries, the home side having the one-man advantage for about five minutes. Cove then went down to 10 men directly after the goal again due to injury. Modbury scored with the last kick of the match.
